Be part of the conversation as we explore how responsible businesses can help transform breakthrough research into innovations that contribute to an Inclusive Bharat.
FSID has been featured in today's The Times Of India story titled, "๐๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ต๐ข๐ณ๐ต๐ถ๐ฑ ๐๐ฏ๐ค๐ถ๐ฃ๐ข๐ต๐ฐ๐ณ ๐๐ฉ๐ข๐ต ๐๐ฆ๐ง๐ถ๐ด๐ฆ๐ด ๐ต๐ฐ ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ฉ." The feature highlights FSID's role as a deep science incubator that supports startups through long incubation periods, recognizing that breakthrough innovations take time and require patience, sustained mentorship, and the right ecosystem to succeed.
At FSID, we believe that breakthrough innovation takes time. As our Director, Prof. Balan Gurumoorthy, aptly puts it:
"We don't put a clock on our companies. Our metric is that they should be ready to stand in front of either a customer or an investor. If that doesn't happen, we stay with them. We've had companies here for six years, and we don't have an issue with that as long as they're progressing.
A heartfelt thank you to our incubated startup founders for taking the time to share your entrepreneurial journeys and experiences at FSID. Your stories truly reflect the resilience, innovation, and collaborative spirit of our ecosystem.
Hareesh Chandrasekar | Dr. Fathima Benazir J | Anirudh Sharma | Yashas Karanam |
We also extend our sincere appreciation to Akhil George for bringing out a thoughtful and comprehensive feature on the importance of patient capital and long-term incubation in building India's deep science innovation ecosystem.
