Awesome! They finally fired Mike Norvell! It’s about time! Go Noles! ♥️💛 #MikeNorvell #MikeNorvellFired #YourFired #FSU #Noles #GoNoles #FearTheSpear #FSUFootball

In case you missed the USSOCOM jump at the FSU game, here’s the video. It was overcast, but there are 3 soldiers parachuting in. They came right over heads from the East side of Doak Campbell Stadium (We’re on the 30 yard line 14 rows from the field) so a couple of times I lost them in the sky. It was so cool! 😎 🪂 #MilitaryAppreciationNight #DoakCampbellStadium #USSOCOM #MacDillAFB #Army #GoArmy #BeatNavy #FSU #Noles #GoNoles #FearTheSpear #FSUFootball #FSUvsClem #Halloween

So it’s nice to see the pictures of the “Operation Garnet Storm” drone show the day after we went to the FSU game… ~sarcasm. We sit on the East side of the stadium. Lower level 30 yard line 13th and 14th rows from the field. We had to turn around and stretch our necks abnormally just to see maybe 25% of the drones. People who sit higher up saw even less! They did flash it on the big screen so you could occasionally see what was going on, but it was underwhelming to say the least. It should have been done over the large scoreboard just above where the Marching Chiefs sit. They were already down on the field at that point. It’s just another failure of whoever is in charge of production at FSU games. All of it from pre game, to in game, to half time. FSU production sucks! Go to an FSU away game and see the difference. The Louisville game was proof positive of that! The Cardinals Production blows FSU’s away! Even when FSU has a cool idea like a drone show, they fail at it miserably! Poor execution! #OperationGarnetStorm #Failure #FSUProduction #FSUProductionFailure #PoorExecution #DoakCampbellStadium #HalftimeShow @FloridaState @FSUFootball @Seminoles @SeminoleBooster @PresMcCullough @FSUPro

Me and my love inside Doak Campbell Stadium! We’re in early, not for Chief Osceola and Renegade, but for the USSOCOM parachute jump with the game ball on Military Appreciation Night! Go Army! Go Noles! #MilitaryAppreciationNight #DoakCampbellStadium #USSOCOM #MacDillAFB #Army #GoArmy #BeatNavy #FSU #Noles #GoNoles #FearTheSpear #FSUFootball #Halloween

All my FSU fans out there should really check out the Board Of Trustees Meeting that was released today so you better understand what’s going on with athletics, academics, facilities, the house bill, etc. They’re doing a fantastic job behind the scenes and don’t share much to the public. That’s why it’s important to pay attention when they do talk about everything. This means watch the whole video. #FSUBOT #FSUBoardOfTrustees #FSUBOTMeeting #FSU #Noles #GoNoles #FearTheSpear #FSUFootball vimeo.com/1241428868

Just finished the book, The Enemy by Lee Child. It’s the 8th book in the Jack Reacher series. Technically, though it’s a prequel to the 1st book. So he’s still a Major in the US Army. In this book Reacher is on duty when a two-star general is found dead of apparent natural causes in a cheap roadside motel, with his official briefcase missing. Hours later, the general's wife is found murdered hundreds of miles away. An investigation ensues. Reacher is joined by Sergeant Frances Neagley and a young lieutenant. They uncover a military conspiracy and a pattern of suspicious reassignments in the upper ranks aimed at framing Reacher. It was excellent and unlike any of the other books, movie, or series. That’s why I liked it more! This was outstanding because of the back story with the Army and the blues clubs and the fact that this was a prequel to the 1st book. I had paused the series after the 7th book because the stories were getting far fetched and unbelievable. I lost interest. I doubt I’ll continue the series because it’s back to him being a loner nomad trying to right the world. Not unlike a super hero, and I DESPISE super hero stories. #TheEnemy #LeeChild #JackReacher #AudioBook #Audible

Happy National Cat Day! Wescott says hiya!… or well that was my interpretation of the meow I got from him after making the bed and fixing his blanket. 🐈🐈‍⬛🐱 #NationalCatDay #Cat #Wescott

Stacey and I had a birthday dinner and drinks party at Bonefish Grill for my Mom! We had a blast. Even came home for cake and ice cream! Sorry we forgot to take a picture, but it happened! 🥳🎉 🎂🍸🎁

Starting my next book, The Enemy by Lee Child. The investigation runs parallel to personal developments in reachers life. I hope it’s good. I paused the series after the 7th book and thought it was time to jump back in and do the next book in the series. That, and I’m a bit starved for content. #TheEnemy #LeeChild #JackReacher #AudioBook #Audible

Paris, France is on my list of International trips. I’d love to be there for the Steelers vs Saints game this weekend. However, “Paris is Burning” right now so I’ll wait a minute for that trip! Just finished the book, I Ain’t Studdin’ Ya by Bobby Rush and Herb Powell. It’s the 2021 autobiography of Grammy and BMA winning blues legend Bobby Rush. It covers his life from picking cotton and playing juke joints in Arkansas and Louisiana as a teenager, to his move to Chicago, his signature 1970s hit "Chicken Heads," and his decades-long career as the "King of the Chitlin' Circuit". I’m looking forward to doing another blues book on a legend. I’ve done so many, I’m hard pressed to find any blues book I haven’t done. The book was excellent. I enjoyed all the great stories. I especially liked all the famous blues people he met along his journey. I can see why I didn’t like his shows. The book discussed the chitlin circuit and compared it to vaudeville and how his shows had dancers, comedy, yapping, etc. I don’t like any of that, or need any of it at a blues show. Just give me the music. The story itself was chronological and kept my interest. He led a really full and difficult life through the 20th Century. The book also had a great the narrator. All in all it was way better than what I thought it would be. I’d definitely recommend it. #IAintSuddinYa #MyAmericanBluesStory #BobbyRush #HerbPowell #Blues #AudioBook #Audible
