Revisiting my blabbering 😊

Why does Pakistan struggle to boost exports and narrow its trade deficit? As with many entrenched economic problems, the answer lies largely in political economy - I explain below - full video is in reply
This is a tight slap in the face of those entitled, spoiled brats who look down upon the poor as if they were lesser human beings. They arrogantly believe that money and power put them above the law, allowing them to exploit, intimidate, and act with impunity.
Let me make one thing absolutely clear: As Chief Minister of Punjab, I stand firmly with the oppressed, regardless of how powerful their oppressors may be. No amount of wealth, influence, or political connections should enable anyone to escape accountability. Justice is not a privilege reserved for the rich and powerful; it is a fundamental right of every citizen. No one is above the law, and no victim should ever have to fight alone simply because the perpetrator has money or influence.
A woman's guess is much more accurate than a man's certainty.

The US appears to be preparing for another military assault on Iran, with potentially catastrophic consequences for the entire Middle East. Those pushing for escalation seem to have learned little from decades of disastrous interventions in the region. Iran may suffer immense destruction, but the belief that overwhelming firepower can deliver a decisive political outcome is dangerously misplaced. Washington and Israel may have the capacity to inflict devastating blows, but neither can dictate what follows. The repercussions could engulf the wider region, deepen instability and send shockwaves through the global economy. The reckless pursuit of military solutions to complex political conflicts reflects a profound disregard for the lessons of history. It is far easier to unleash destruction than to contain its consequences.

For a Muslim, the Quran is God’s Word. Even the most authentic hadith is a human report of what the Prophet is believed to have said or done.
These two do not belong on the same shelf.
If you cannot distinguish between divine revelation and human transmission, the foundations of your religious understanding may be far weaker than you realize.

Interesting listening to these three very smart, very talented women of #Pakistan as they talk about Pakistani TV drama and its evolution, specifically with reference to its portrayal of women.

The measure of a society is not how loudly it condemns violence after the fact. It is whether the women we love can move through their lives with dignity, freedom, and safety before violence finds them

“In a public gathering, someone commented that Jhang was initially famous for Heer and now will be famed for #AbdusSalam’s #Nobel Prize. He remarked that there are hundreds of #Nobel Laureates but only one #Heer.”
