For this Christmas Season, I am starting a thread of all the fairytale-related TV programmes and films during the next two weeks...
#BBC #ITV #SkyShowcase
During his long and successful career, Peter David had an iconic run on #Aquaman and also wrote #TheLittleMermaid comics...
Between Halle Bailey revealing she's been abused by her ex and Jonah Hauer-King's #DoctorWho character turning out to be a villain, it's been a pretty rough few weeks for fans of the live-action #TheLittleMermaid...

I'm not joking if Finn had been the main character and they brought this guy back in the next 2 movies as his rival or something I guarantee you that shit would've sold gangbusters

but when all the late night talk shows say it and snl has 700 skits including major celebrities saying the same thing it’s not a problem?
After Rachel Zegler posted "F--- Donald Trump" on Instagram, Disney paid a social media guru to work with the #SnowWhite star to vet any posts before the film's March 21 release. wp.me/pc8uak-1lFArD

you know Rachel Zegler is human, shes not perfect. She does things that I think she shouldnt have and sometimes she says things that she shouldn’t have but like nothing will ever convince me that shes a bad person, no amount of hate will ever be justified against her

lily collins’ snow white has a whole line saying something how “in this fairytale, the princess is gonna save the prince this time” or around those lines😭

saw like 30 or so little girls at the theater today singing snow white songs in the lobby after having just seen the movie with their moms and still can’t really understand why any sane middle-aged man would ever be mad at that

Lacking raves, stars or hooks to entice anyone not on board with a live-action #SnowWhite remake, Disney overestimated the #boxoffice value of a title most known, by today’s audiences, for being their first toon rather than a favorite.

Disney is now the most storied brand in the US. If you are that, you have a target on your forehead. When you’re a mega-corporation ... every single issue you deal with is part of a globally interlinked, horribly complex map that you can’t avoid.

Where exactly was she wrong though? She worked hard and deserves to be paid for it.

"The book will still be published, but not at the ministry's expense. French children this year will instead receive a version of Homer's Odyssey." Nothing at all wrong with the man of twists and turns for 6 year olds."🤣

the people hating on this movie do not know how story telling works. the original snow white story is 200+ years old. stories are meant to be changed and readapted for newer audiences. if you don't like this movie, don't see it. your childhood that ended years ago will be fine!!
