By doing apologetic debates with Catholics and Protestants. But, in these debates the Orthodox “scholars” are telling their opponents how bad their faith is and how wrong they are about what they believe. Occasionally throwing insults and personal attacks to get them to convert to Orthodoxy. A great game plan, right? It would be funny except it’s so stupid it defies logic. It’s a show of ego. With no purpose except to humiliate their opponents. The only ones that enjoy the debate are the ignorant. Where are the bishops? Canon 64 Council at Trullo Quinisext council. A response to a priest offended by Dyer; Please excuse Jay Dyer. He’s an exprotestant that pretends to be an Orthodox apologist. He is not. He is nothing more than a street performer making money off of unsuspecting Orthodox enquirers. The enquirers protect him with a boy like crush. He holds no rank and is not a theologian, nor is he a scholar in the Orthodox Church. Jay used to work for Alex Jones and his followers on X are mostly fighting age males that are misogynistic, antisemitic, and racist. His priest and bishop, ROCOR, choose the money Dyer brings the church over his heretical and immoral views. In debate, Dyer is often vile, condescending and uses obscene language. He uses straw man arguments in every debate. Many of our celebrity priests associate with Dyer because of his large number of followers. The majority of Orthodox Bishops and Priests do not approve or support Jay Dyer.
