Bob Ross is actually a perfect example to show why art lovers are unimpressed by AI art. Bob Ross is not famous for his paintings. He is famous for his videos in which he showed *how* he made his paintings. The process matters!

I’m replaying the games right now, and it’s only now hit me how fucking crazy it is that Doofenshmirtz created a Heartless-Inator. Xehanort could only make emblem heartless after, presumably, years of research, and Doof is just casually making purebloods.

so lets get this straight, they ran this giant feedback form for weeks, came back with a 95% "yes we want labels to mark if something was made with ai" result, and said "nah we aint doin that". incredible leadership from the people on the vrchat team
Let's talk about AI in VRChat.

Van Helsing is not mid okay, it got the second most memorable vampire ever acted on silver screen by Richard Roxburgh (and his brides of course) and most important of all, the bestest werewolves design ever in movies like kemon man

what was the point of asking your community if your going to give statistics and ignore them

A brutal pixel art Metroidvania set in Mexico where a detective makes a deal with Death herself
- Solve a string of murders in your town
- Turn into La Sombra to fight evil
- Bring Death the one man who cannot die
Game is Mariachi Legends.

The werewolf design in this movie is a proper, literal representation of what a werewolf SHOULD be.
Not just another copy/paste naked mole rat or guy covered in fur or just an ordinary wolf.

The sudden anti-steam motion is the most TRANSPARENTLY organised fake shit I have ever seen in my life
No company is perfect but they provide a good service, good products and it’s not Valves fault that epic is constantly trying to suck start a gen ai 12 gauge

For all those who are confused why there are “devs” coming out of the woodwork running defence for Tim Sweeney, and trying to throw shade at Steam too.
They’ll tell you that its about the “30%”, or the “monopoly”, is that so?
I noticed however there’s a common link between all these accounts.
Most of them are actually mainly upset at the Ai disclosures and labels Steam have. They consider the act of transparency as some kind of atrocity committed by Evil Gaben. See pic 1.
Many of them on their bio and posts shill Ai vibe coding, A LOT.
Also, they are super hyped for Unreal Engine 6, which is Ai obsession given game engine form.

If that’s the case, Epic Games Store should be at least as good as Steam as a platform from communities, forums, walkthroughs and workshop, right?
Oh…all it has is bribing players with free games.
Also, Epic Games Employee attacking his employer’s enemy? Imagine my shock.
It's really sad that the games industry is drained by a 30% tax on gross revenue.
You could vibe code a Steam alternative in a week. Cloudflare egress is basically free.
The industry is in desperate need of a distribution platform that allows developers to keep their revenue.
Networks effects and the fanatic obsession with "muh Steam library" will make this very difficul.
But if devs could actually keep their earnings, we'd have a greater selection of better games and far more financial success stories.

Hey Y'all!
Game day is fast approaching for Extra Life 2026!
Unlike previous years where I did 24 hours straight, I'm going to split it up across two days-- with a 12 hour stream on the 7th and another 12 hour stream on the 8th.
We're going to be playing games that I loved and adored from my childhood-- from Bugdom to Diner Dash, Scooby Doo Cyber Chase and Powerpuff Girls Relish Rampage! I'm so excited to dive into some childhood nostalgia in the name of raising money to help children fighting cancer.
Our goal this year is $1,000!
I'll be doing another POSTER give away as well at the half way point of Day 2 (6 PM PST/9PM EST), so be sure to pop by and nab an entry for a chance to win!
See y'all then!
