Somewhat important note for the NEC in the wake of Le Moyne leaving (Stonehill too?):
The D-I Membership Committee recommends a 6x increase in the D-I application fee. The latest fee is about $2 million. Would take effect in 2027-28. #FCS
The application fee is tied to the annual average distribution from championships. I'm not really sure where the NEC goes next if the application fee is $12 million, plus any entrance/exit fees, and increased scholarships/funding/admin demands.

I feel completely vindicated over the last two weeks by not having Elon and Richmond in my Top 25. Elon has lost two in a row to New Hampshire and Wofford. Richmond fell to previously 1-5 Fordham after playing a horrendously weak schedule to this point. #FCS
