The @Conservative_BC actually received 50,000 fewer votes than in 2024 (but won 20 more seats) because the @bcndp vote dropped by 275.000 (29%) while the @BCGreens got 23,000 more votes than last time (+13%) - still some ballots to be counted.

David Eby governed like a substitute teacher trying desperately not to lose control of a classroom that did not respect him as a real authority figure. Whole election was about nothing but his own self-interest and no surprise the voter base he alienated sat it out & stayed home.

Call a self-serving election long before one is required, and voters don't like that. They also don't like the lack of fair play in calling an election when there is no opposition leader in place. This outcome was pretty predictable.
