Marc Botenga (@botengaM) explaining clearly the role of Europe in the massacre of Sudanese people. Because yes, @UEenRDC is not just fueling the genocide of Congolese people, the EU is active everywhere there is profit. Human rights and killings are not their problems … And in Belgium, @prevotmaxime knows that very well… his sanctions « against » Rwanda lasted how long again?
30 years of genocide, a few months of ridiculous sanctions… of course, Kagame is such a good partner!
We Africans, must stop waiting for others to liberate us! Period! We must stop wasting our energy trying to get Rwanda sanctioned through this fake diplomacy. We must become a sovereign power, capable of liberating ourselves, instead of constantly waiting for others to do it for us!

EUROPE’S COMPLICITY IN SUDAN GENOCIDE EXPOSED BY MEMBER OF EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT
"If you send military material to the [UAE], and a similar equipment suddenly appears in Sudan, ask a question: 'come on, how is it possible?'" said Marc Botenga, a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for the Workers’ Party of Belgium (PTB).
Speaking to Pan-African journalist Maud-Salomé Ekila, Botenga, who represents one of the few European parliamentary parties that openly identifies as Marxist, exposed the European Union’s direct complicity in the destruction of Sudan.
Since April 2023, the UAE - a European ally - has waged war on Sudan via the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
Pointing to the ongoing atrocities on the ground, Ekila asked: "What responsibility do you believe the European Union bears for the continuation of this conflict?"
Botenga characterised Europe's role as "very big," revealing that until recently, naming the UAE in European political halls was "completely taboo."
He noted that despite a formal arms embargo (for the Darfur region of western Sudan), European-manufactured weapons continue to reach Sudan, while EU member states deepen military alliances with the UAE.
Botenga drew specific attention to the RSF's atrocities in Al-Fashir, the state capital of North Darfur, where the UAE-backed militia perpetrated massacres that the UN described as genocidal.
"[Europe's] responsibility is to say: 'listen, guys, we will not cooperate militarily with countries sponsoring the worst crimes imaginable'", he said.
Botenga further detailed how the war is driven by foreign corporate interests seeking Sudan’s vast gold reserves and agricultural lands.
He then concluded with a sharp critique of diplomatic platitudes from Western leaders who mourn the crisis while maintaining partnerships with the state bankrolling it.
"Just denouncing it and saying 'we're so sad about what's happening in Sudan' is not going to cut it," Botenga said.

Congolese endure terror & displacement while global tech giants profit from the minerals beneath their land. When violence forces families to flee, who gains access to their homes & resources? Their grief is not a business model. The world must demand accountability

Moi, Félix Tshisekedi me fait pitié. Franchement, il commence à exagérer. Il est incompétent et fait preuve d’une grande lâcheté. Laissez-moi vous dire que, depuis ma naissance, je n’ai jamais vu un président aussi pleurnichard que ce monsieur.

WHY DID THE U.S. LIFT SOME SANCTIONS ON ERITREA?
Between 18 and 19 September 2026, the United States announced a partial lifting of sanctions imposed on Eritrea under President Joe Biden's previous administration. These sanctions, imposed in 2021, were issued under the pretext of Eritrean involvement in alleged "human rights abuses" in northern Ethiopia's Tigray region. Other sanctions imposed on Eritrea prior to 2021 remain untouched.
In this video, Abayomi Azikiwe of Pan-African Newswire explains how this shift in US foreign policy toward Eritrea also comes as internal dynamics and relationships shift within the Horn of Africa. Eritrea, which worked alongside the Abiy Ahmed government for a few years against the Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF), now appears to have shifted its position.
On 1 October 2026, Ethiopia announced it would close its embassy in Eritrea's capital, Asmara. In retaliation, Eritrea has also cut diplomatic ties with Ethiopia. However, despite accusations, Eritrea vehemently denies supporting the TPLF.
Eritrea is frequently targeted by the United States and other Western actors for refusing to submit to the Washington Consensus, rejecting IMF and World Bank proposals, and disallowing foreign military bases on its soil. As one of the most self-determining countries in Africa, a state Pan-Africanists sometimes refer to as a 'liberated zone,' the country has been lambasted in Western media as 'the North Korea of Africa.'

"We bled Africa for four and a half centuries. We looted their raw materials, then we told lies that the Africans are good for nothing. In the name of religion we destroyed their culture. And after being made rich at their expense, we now steal their brains through miseducation and propaganda to prevent them from enacting Black retribution against
US." ~ Jacques Rene Chirac, former

Caribbean people have always been part of our shared global struggle for Black liberation. They came to America carrying traditions of resistance shaped by centuries of confronting enslavement, colonialism, and fighting with cutlass and fists against European domination.
Our African ancestors were scattered across the Caribbean and the Americas, but our shared ancestry and DNA connections remain intact bonded by blood, survival, and struggle.
