SuryaKiran jet trainer aeroplanes are taken out from the mainstream training aircraft line-up. Absence of so many jet trainers permanently from training must be having a massive snowballing effect on creating Indian fighter pilots. Why this aircraft, why not some other?

Wasting precious resources on too many displays has its adverse effects on op preparedness. Suryakiran Sarang Akashganga is understandable, but frontline fighters and sparse tankers?? My sympathies with the Flt Cdrs and UT Ops crew.

U-707 in chief's video is a Kiran Mk-1 intermediate jet trainer at Hakimpeth air base/academy & has amassed 8500 hours of training flying. In this role, Iskra aircraft unfortunately retired much earlier, on reaching only 3500 hours. Kiran Mk-2s of IAF operate in UP defence corridor for another role & have completed appx 4500 hours each so far.
