I just gave this 3day- 2 night travel plan to a friend. Sharing for those who may want to see some #Hoysala temples , well known and not so well known!
Assuming you do a 3 day 2 nights trip from Bengaluru, with one night at Mysuru and one night at Hasana , reaching Bengaluru on the third evening , you can do a fab trip:
Day 1
1) From bengaluru on the way to Mysuru , at Madduru there are 2 beautiful temples - semi Hoysala with Chola/Vijayanagara additions
2) Just before Mandya at Boodanuru are 2 nice small but extremely visitable Hoysala temples
3) Then go to Somanathapura
4) From there go to Tirumakudalu Narasipura - 2 temples , one ( Agastyeshwara) recently gone through jeernoddhara is again a composite of Hoysala, Chola Vijayanagara styles . Also the serene atmosphere of Sangama of Kaveri and Kapila. Nice sight in the evening
5) If time permits you can take the darshsna of Nanjundeshwara at Nanjanagudu before you go to Mysuru for overnight stay
Day 2: ( Mys to Hasana circuit)
1) Leave Mysuru in the morning , first stop Gopalakrishna temple Kannambadi ( reconstructed)
2) Go to HosaHolalu beautiful Hoysala temple
3)Next stop beautiful Hoysala Brahmesgwara at Kikkeri
4) One of a kind pancha kuta shiva temple Govindana Halli , do not miss this !
5) Quick stop at Shanti grama , if time permits - 3 Hoysala temples, one reconstructed
6) last stop before going to Hasana -Bucheshwara ar Koravangala
Night stay in Hasana
Day 3-
1) Dodda gaddavalli Lakshmi temple, beautiful Chatushkuta temple
2) Beluru
3) Halebeedu - do not miss Kedareshwara temple and Jaina basadis at Basti Halli
End of the day- drive back to Bengaluru.
If you can spare one more night at Hasana , I can fill that with some more beautiful temples!

FORTRESS: The Pentagon is preparing every major U.S. military base to survive 90 days without outside support — no civilian power grid, no global supply chains, no outside fuel or water.
The initiative, revealed in documents reviewed by Fox News Digital, envisions portable nuclear reactors, massive battery storage, and microgrids that can disconnect installations from civilian electricity entirely. Strategic reserves of munitions, fuel, critical minerals, and medical supplies would be stockpiled based on wartime consumption rates. Civilian factories are being pre-identified to shift to defense production during a crisis.
Pentagon chief spokesperson Sean Parnell put it bluntly: "Power is combat now. Without electricity, you lose communications, water, logistics, assembly lines and just basic military command structures."

90 days without outside support. The Pentagon’s FORTRESS plan would require every major military installation in the continental U.S. to sustain essential operations for at least that long, according to documents reviewed by Fox News.
That covers electricity, water, fuel and communications. Reactors, batteries and microgrids address power. Aircraft operations, equipment repairs and medical care still require supplies.
A base could keep its lights on and still lack what it needs to operate.
The plan addresses that with wartime reserves and alternative supply routes. Civilian factories would be prepared to switch to defense production.
This is a planning standard. It does not establish that every base can already meet it.
The nuclear programme has a narrower milestone. A presidential order requires an Army-regulated reactor to begin operating at a domestic installation by 30 September 2028.
That reactor deadline is not a deadline for achieving the full 90-day standard across major bases.

As a Chinese person, this is the most objective and fair take I've seen on China's economy.
This is the real situation we're in right now. It's even worse than this. The other bad parts aren't even in the article.
This is how bad it actually is.
#China #Economy #Markets #AI
🚨 CHINA IS FACING A GENERATIONAL CRISIS, AND THE NUMBERS ARE ABSOLUTELY TERRIFYING.
China's economy is struggling so badly that millions of young people are finding it almost impossible to build a stable future.
According to The Wall Street Journal, a generation that grew up believing hard work guaranteed success is now facing unemployment, layoffs, falling wages and growing financial pressure.
And the numbers are shocking.
• Youth unemployment among 16–24 year olds has reached nearly 19%, almost double the U.S. rate of 9%.
• Unemployment among 25–29 year olds stands at 7.5%, compared with China's overall rate of around 5%.
• A record 12.7 MILLION students graduated from Chinese colleges this year, entering an already struggling job market.
• China's urban employment is estimated to be 37 MILLION JOBS BELOW where it would have been if pre-pandemic job growth had continued.
• One Chinese economist estimates that the country's broader unemployment rate could actually be around 10%, nearly double the official figure.
But unemployment is only part of the problem.
China's property market collapse has destroyed jobs in construction, real estate and related industries.
Major technology companies, including Alibaba and ByteDance, have reportedly been cutting staff.
And now AI is making the situation even worse.
According to the WSJ, some of China's biggest employers privately estimated that AI could eliminate 30% OR MORE of their existing jobs.
A study covering 700 MILLION job postings found that AI has hit hiring demand particularly hard for workers with just 1–3 years of experience.
Even entry level jobs that once helped graduates start their careers are disappearing.
Meanwhile, the number of Chinese workers in temporary and gig jobs is expected to jump from 280 MILLION in 2025 to 320 MILLION in 2026.
That would represent more than 40% of urban employment.
And the impact is already spreading beyond the job market.
Young people are delaying marriage, avoiding having children and moving back in with their parents because they cannot afford to live independently.
Some are even giving up on traditional careers altogether.
China spent decades building an economy where each generation expected to become wealthier than the last.
Now millions of young people are questioning whether years of education and hard work are even worth it.
This is a serious problem for the world's second largest economy.
Weak employment means weaker consumer spending, fewer families being formed and even more pressure on China's already struggling property market.
The biggest danger for China isn't just slowing economic growth. It's an entire generation losing confidence in its economic future.
And if millions of young people continue to struggle to find stable jobs, China's economic problems could become much harder to fix.

Old Kannada movie directors were educated and progressive, they broke the stereotype of casting pale skin actresses and made sure to cast actresses with dark skin which helped to alleviate the insecurities of many women and gave highly positive and strong roles to them like doctors, lawyers entrepreneur and thereby building their confidence and representation.
In old kannada movies heroine were not just a glamorous side actor to the hero they had a complete role.

Ideally the Government, specifically CERT-IN or Controller of Certifying Authorities under MeITY should be telling you this impact of eMudhra. But hey nothing is wrong to begin with. Govt has no work at all 🍿
156 Indian government websites are currently inaccessible because of a cert revocation by @eMudhra, including 4 that come under @GoI_MeitY. One of them is @ccaindiapki - which regulates eMudhra.
