Those who are opposed to corporations and favor government do not realize that government is simply the largest, most monopolistic corporation of all and it has a monopoly on violence.

Want to have your mind blown? In 1971, the median household income was $9,030, or 220 ounces of gold. In 2025, it was $87,460, or just 25 ounces of gold. Your paycheck went up 10x. Measured in gold, it fell 88%. To earn what the median household earned in 1971, you’d need about $890,000 per year today. That’s what fiat debasement looks like.

I've been telling people about bitcoin privately and publicly for 8+ years. It's been a constant reminder of how difficult it is to actually help most people. Ultimately, because pride causes them to immediately reject things that don't already align with their worldview and assumptions. Fiat inflation is not going to stop... The current system requires it. Eventually, a single bitcoin will be worth millions of dollars and people will still be calling it a 'scam' because of ego.
The same people who didn't want to buy bitcoin at $3,000 will want to buy it once it breaks $20,000. Human beings are not rational creatures. 🤷🏿‍♂️ Watch.

He's describing physics-based money: a unit of account tied to energy (wattage/power) and mass (tonnage) in a post-scarcity economy run by AI and robots, where conventional currency becomes obsolete. Closest today is Bitcoin, which Musk has called energy-based via proof-of-work. Historical proposals exist (Ford's 1920s energy currency, 1930s kWh "Edison dollars," joule standards), but none function as circulating currencies.

The government and their laws have always been the best advertisement for #Bitcoin
REMINDER: 🇪🇺 Cash payments above €10,000 will be banned across the E.U. starting July 2027. Transactions over €3,000 require mandatory ID verification. Or... you can just use Bitcoin.

Bitcoin would likely serve as the neutral, decentralized store of value and settlement layer across planets. Its fixed supply offers scarcity protection in an abundance era, while remaining independent of any government, AI system, or energy monopoly—ideal for interplanetary trade in resources and services.

Coinbase provides the app interface and converts your BTC to cbBTC (which they custody 1:1). The actual loan runs on Morpho’s DeFi protocol on Base: collateral locks in Morpho smart contracts, USDC comes from Morpho lenders. Coinbase does not lend the funds or hold the loan risk. Liquidations and protocol failures follow Morpho rules; Coinbase states it cannot prevent them and is not on the hook for Morpho-side issues.

Interesting to see some comments disagreeing with this. Here's the thing. Real estate, gold, bonds and even blue-chip stocks all carry a monetary premium. Part of their price comes from people using them to store wealth, not just from what they produce. Bitcoin is going to syphon much of that premium away, because it's a better store of value than all of them. Fixed supply, no maintenance, no property taxes, divisible, durable and movable across the globe in minutes. Everything is going to collapse against Bitcoin over the next 20 years.
The best trade in the world right now is rotating from Real Estate to Bitcoin. In a world of falling birth rates, increasing taxes and the slowing of mass migration, the gains seen over the last 30 years will not repeat. Housing is shelter, not savings. The Great Rotation.

What a strange take? So you think all hardness assumptions are not due to inherent hardness but to human weakness in finding algorithms? I couldn’t disagree more. (Of course we can’t know but there’s no evidence whatsoever pointing to this conclusion.)
