I sold my Ugu leafs 🍃🍃 in an open 🔓 market last week directly to the consumers! And people in the market were just looking at me like someone that wore backside of cloths! 🤷🏿♂️ 😂.
I was able to finish the sells within 10 minutes.
Why?

The more you learn, the better equipped you become to farm successfully
Effort is not always progress in Agriculture.
Sometimes, you need to question what you are planting and where it's coming from . 🌱
It's November farmers, Ocka Agro Vet Store is dedicated to working with you during this El'nino season.

You are to sell 100 metric tonnes of Ginger. Your total cost to deliver to the buyer FOB is $2350 per tonne, and your selling price is $2500 per tonne, as stated in your offer.
A foreign buyer tells you:
Your price is too high. Another Nigerian exporter has offered me $2400 per tonne. If you want my business, you must match that price.
What would you say to convince the buyer to buy from you, or would you reduce your price to $2400 per tonne?
Remember, you cannot simply say your quality is the best, as every supplier claims that.
What would you do?
Soft life lifestyle is underrated!!
As a man, try your possible best to make enough money that you won't have to put in energy before you spend it.
Because I have access to free seeds around me, I’ve been carrying out several experiments on crops and their growing patterns, things I’ve heard people talk about over the years. 🌱
Rather than just accepting everything I hear, I want to see things for myself. I’m conducting
these experiments, observing the results, and documenting my own experiences as a practicing farmer.
It reminds me of the popular notion that birds cannot survive without vaccines. But that’s a story for another day. 😂
For now, let’s see how this experiment goes.

FARMERS, STOP FALLING FOR THIS TRAP.
Whenever a buyer/Middle Men tells you “Bring it to us we will buy”, be careful.
That single sentence has ruined the profit of many farmers.
Especially when you’re dealing with perishable produce.
Here is the game they play 👇

I know when Tosin joined our farm community, he came in as a novice but very determined to learn. Infact he was too fast that sometimes i seek advice from him. We use to stay at my failed previous Agro shop. Fast forward now, he partnered with an investor and this is his output.
This is the testimony i want to hear!

Dont sell to market women .. locate end users like restaurants, mothers etc ... Thats how I do now .. Ugu has blessed me this year ..
Recently i have been bringing my experiences, imaginations and passions into reality using Ai.
I spent most of my little free times creating things that ordinarily i will pay a huge sum to actualize.
This My New movie series #TANGAZA will be life on Facebook.
