You should never have to connect your appliances or temperature controls to your WiFi network.
It’s bad enough NEST type thermostats are pushing info back into homes and allowing govt to control home heating/cooling.
Cyberattacks overnight disrupted refrigeration systems at supermarkets in Sweden, Belgium and Luxembourg, causing extreme temperatures and heavy damage to stored food.
Some ICA stores in Sweden had units remotely set to 50°C. In Belgium, units at over 40 Delhaize, 15 Carrefour and around 5 Spar stores are heating up to 15°C.
Sweden's National Cybersecurity Centre is working on several incidents involving grocery store refrigeration across the country.

🚨 NOW: FBI Director Kash Patel confirms both charges against James Comey are FELONIES
Comey's facing DECADES in prison.
James Comey allegedly threatened the life of the president of the United States. And as you all now know, shortly after posting that threat, he deleted that threat and then issued an apology. All of that information was presented to the grand jury and Mr. Comey will have his day in court, and his ability to speak to a jury of his peers"
"While many of you may read this indictment and view this matter as a simple investigation, it is the farthest thing from that. Every single investigation, this FBI and our partners at the Department of Justice undertake, especially those that involve the threats to harm or hurt or even KlLL individuals, whether they behold public office or civilians in our country are met with the SAME measure of investigative prowess and tools and personnnel in partnership with the Department of Justice as anyone else."

A look inside the cruel heart of Islam.
End Muslim immigration.
w.
He’s talking about rape, and I want to point something out. He doesn’t say “it’s not always wrong,” or “it’s not always bad,” but “it’s not always haram.” The fact that rape violates and traumatizes the victim is meaningless in the Muslim worldview: all that matters to them is whether or not the assault is haram.
Islam permits rape — as well as forced marriage, slavery, and domestic violence — and calls it all righteous. A man can beat and rape his child bride and still be considered a good man by Muslim standards, because under Islam, girls and women are nothing more than animals who look like human beings. They are living property, to be sold and beaten and raped at the whim of their owners.

Sadiq Khan will defend a woman's right to cover her face. He won't defend her right to wear a cross.
Asked about the burqa, the Mayor said he "wouldn't dream" of telling women what to wear it's their freedom to choose.
Ask him the same about a nurse with a crucifix, or a Christian told to keep their faith quiet at work, and see how quickly the freedom disappears.
Freedom of religion for one, freedom to shut up for the rest.

November 2, 1944. An American infantry division attacks into the Hürtgen Forest toward a village called Schmidt, and over the next two weeks it is very nearly destroyed. The ordeal of the 28th Division at Schmidt is one of the costliest and most futile actions the US Army fought in the whole war, the sharpest point of the meat-grinder battle I described in that dark forest.
I told you about the Hürtgen on the 27th of October, the dense, dripping forest on the German border where the Americans kept feeding divisions into terrain that negated every advantage they had, taking terrible losses for ground of little value. Now it was the turn of the 28th Infantry Division, a Pennsylvania National Guard outfit whose red keystone shoulder patch earned it the grim nickname, after the Hürtgen, of the "Bloody Bucket."
On the 2nd, the 28th launched its attack with the objective of taking the village of Schmidt, deep in the forest. At first there was a flicker of success. The infantry fought their way forward through the trees and actually took Schmidt. But the position was a trap. The approach ran along a single, terrible track through the forest and across a deep gorge, the Kall trail, over which it was nearly impossible to get tanks and supplies forward to support the infantry who had pushed into the village. The men in Schmidt were out on a limb, exposed, with little armor or artillery support able to reach them.
The Germans counterattacked hard, with tanks and infantry, and the isolated Americans in Schmidt, unable to be reinforced or properly supported across that impossible trail, were overwhelmed and thrown out of the village in a rout. The fighting collapsed into a nightmare around Schmidt and the nearby village of Kommerscheidt and along the Kall gorge, the Americans fighting desperately to hold on and then to extract their surrounded units, under constant shellfire in the freezing, muddy forest, their tanks slipping off the narrow track into the ravine.
The division was shattered. In roughly two weeks of this, the 28th suffered something on the order of six thousand casualties, killed, wounded, missing, captured, and broken by the conditions, one of the heaviest tolls any American division paid in such a short span, for essentially nothing. The attack failed. Schmidt was not held. The ground gained was negligible, and the whole bloody effort accomplished nothing of strategic value, part of the larger futility of the Hürtgen campaign that historians have condemned ever since.
There is a famous, poignant moment from the fighting that captures its horror: in the chaos of the Kall trail, American and German medics, amid the carnage, worked out an informal local truce to tend and evacuate the wounded of both sides, a flicker of shared humanity in a battle otherwise defined by pointless slaughter.
The destruction of the 28th at Schmidt, begun on the 2nd, is remembered as one of the US Army's most painful episodes, a division wrecked in a forest fight that should perhaps never have been pressed, the Bloody Bucket living up to its terrible name. And the Hürtgen was not done. It would go on swallowing American divisions for weeks more, even as, just to the south, the Germans were secretly massing for the surprise blow in the Ardennes that the obsession with the forest helped the Americans miss.

To my brothers and sisters in arms before the mid-terms:
Many famous Generals in history believed silence protected the uniform from politics. Many proudly did not vote. This unofficial position on voting cost the military dearly over the years.
Politicians with nefarious and divisive agendas used our honor against us to ram through policies that harmed the very fabric of the nation itself.
We must remain non-partisan in accordance with existing laws and regulations, but self stifling our vote out of a misguided sense of honor is ridiculous.
I'm guilty of this. I only started voting in the 2024 election. I used the George Marshall norm of sacrificing the very right I fight for. No more.
I will not see Western Civilization itself descend into chaos while a ballot is still on the table. I will not let some psychotic communist who openly declares they want to kill me and mine, fill out their ballot while I leave mine blank.
I'm taking a side. I'm choosing America and our Oath. You must do whatever you think is right, but I'm telling you where I stand.
God forbid the world descends into the abyss, I will not stand idly by without at least making my own defiant protest heard at the ballot box.
You should too.

In a suburb of Dallas, a friend asked me to pick up her son from elementary school. She told me to get there at two thirty for a three fifteen bell. I thought she was joking.
At two thirty I was car number forty-one.
The line of SUVs went out of the parking lot, down the road, and around a Whataburger. Engines running. Moms in sunglasses eating salads off the steering wheel. A dad in an F-150 asleep with his mouth open.
My friend had given me a laminated card with her son's name, Mason, and a number. 214.
"Put it on the dashboard. Do not lose the number."
At the front of the line stood a woman in a yellow vest with a walkie-talkie. Everyone called her Miss Brenda. Miss Brenda had run this line for nineteen years. She did not need the walkie-talkie. Her voice reached Oklahoma.
"PULL ALL THE WAY UP."
Forty cars moved forward at the same moment, like a train.
A mom two cars ahead of me stopped one car length short. Miss Brenda lowered her sunglasses one inch. The mom moved up immediately. Nobody honked. Nobody needed to.
The rules were not written anywhere. I learned them through my open window from a mom named Ashley in the next lane. No phone. Do not get out of the car. No left turn out of the lot after three twenty. And never, ever cut in from the Whataburger side.
"What happens if you cut in?"
Ashley looked at me with real fear. "Brenda remembers."
At three fifteen the doors opened, and the line began to move with perfect timing. Miss Brenda read the numbers off each dashboard and called them into the walkie-talkie, and a teacher sent each child to the right car.
Then she reached my car. She looked at me. She looked at the card. She had never seen me before in her life.
I lowered my window and bowed my head.
Miss Brenda looked at me for three long seconds.
"You're not Mason's mama."
"No, ma'am. I am a friend."
Before she could lift the walkie-talkie, Mason came out the door, saw me, and yelled, "THAT'S NOBU!" so loud the whole line heard it. Miss Brenda nodded once, opened the back door herself, and slapped the roof twice.
"Pull all the way out, honey."
The next week I picked up Mason again. I came at two twenty-five. Car number thirty-two.
When I reached the front, Miss Brenda did not even look at the card.
"Two-fourteen," she said into the walkie-talkie. Then she looked at me.
"Pull all the way up, Nobu."
She remembers.
