This is brilliant from Dr. Sarah Paine: „Can you think of a one Russian product?„ 🤔🤷‍♂️

Indeed. What Russian product have you ever actually wanted to buy? And the chances are that even if it is made in Russia, it was first appropriated from a people subjugated by Russian imperialism.

Rumor: Elon Musk plans to renegotiate with TSMC on the TeraFab, as he adopts a more practical approach from his earlier insistence that TeraFab be completely self-built and operated, media report. Fresh talks will include operational control, joint investment, technology, and key bottlenecks like advanced packaging and PCB & substrate integration. $SPCX $TSLA $TSM #terafab #semiconductors digitimes.com.tw/tech/dt/n/s…

Clément Molin says recorded middle strike drone hits on Russian armed forces logistics in the rear of occupied regions fell 30% in October to 537. The drop is linked to a roughly 9 day restriction on Starlink and Starshield.
Ukrainian 🇺🇦 mid-range strike against Russian 🇷🇺 trucks and vehicles have slightly decreased in October This is due to Elon Musk reducing Starlink’s maximum speed for over a week. Nevertheless, the number of strikes on Russian vehicles has remained relatively constant this month.

Gotta love how everyone loves to bring up "Zelenskyy is throwing people into a meat grinder" line when advocating to stop aid to Ukraine. But the actual meat grinder conducter, Putin, is never mentioned somehow 🙃🙌 Ukrainians are dying on their own land defending their country, their loved ones, their independence and liberty, their culture and their right to determine their own future. Russians are dying as invaders and occupiers and war criminals for money and wet dreams of an old imperialist fascist dictator in the bloodiest and most vile war of aggressive expansionism in recent memory. I have zero pity for russian contractors, obviously, but if there was a definitive bleak and senseless meat grinder that has no respect for human life, it's their war.
This chart is insane. This shows Russia's casualties over time compared to Russia's territorial gains in Ukraine over the last five years. No sane or rational person would say continuing the war to try and take more of Ukraine's territory is worth the casualties.

That would be the definition of an unstable sociopathic narcissistic leader. Restarts a war because his feelings r hurt.
🚨One U.S. official said Trump might be more inclined to order a major military operation if Republicans lose badly in the midterms. 🚨"If he feels embarrassed or disenfranchised he will do something bold. That's what everyone are telling the Iranians. Their best shot to get a deal is right now," the official said

North Carolina End of Early In-Person Voting 🔴 2024: R+41,457 🔵 2026: D+343,548 Republicans did not win a single day of early voting. Even when high-propensity voters were red, those gains were overwhelmed by exceptionally blue turnout among less frequent voters.

Brutal analysis from @Peggynoonannyc: “Mr. Trump’s problem is that everyone on both sides of the issue knows that he’s out of his depth in running a major war. They weren’t sure of that when it started. Democrats think he went in because he’s a bumbler, Republicans think he can’t win because he’s a bumbler. Supporters and opposers of his decision are united: He’s a bumbler whose bumbling made things more expensive.” wsj.com/opinion/the-case-for…

Four former Presidents of the Constitutional Tribunal, from the "golden era" of this institution (including former judge of CJEU and former Polish ombudsman), supported the actions of Anna Korwin-Piotrowska and the rest of the new CT judges. Passivity in the face of such lawlessness, as caused by Judge Święczkowski and President Nawrocki, would not be compliant with the Constitution. There was a legal and moral obligation for the new judges and state authorities to act.
