A summit photo with Vladimir Putin will not free a single prisoner, feed a single family, or give Eritreans a vote. Isaias Afwerki arrives in Moscow with no mandate from his people: no elections in over thirty years, a National Assembly silent since 2002, a 1997 constitution left on the shelf, and a generation trapped in indefinite national service. Trade and "security cooperation" signed by one man will be used to keep that man in power, not to protect Eritrea. EBRF offers something different: a peaceful, time-limited transition to constitutional rule, independent courts, and an elected government that decides war and peace in the open. That is the partner the Horn and the Red Sea need — not a personal regime shopping for protection abroad. @BlueFront90547 @BeyeneGerezghe1 @StateDept @AsstSecStateAF @SenateForeign @HouseForeign @RepJoeWilson @TiborPNagyJr #EBRF #BlueRevolution #RegimeChangeInEritrea
Isaias Afwerki has arrived in Moscow for the Russia Africa Summit, where regime media promise talks on trade, energy, food security and security cooperation and a meeting with Vladimir Putin. We in EBRF see a dictator shopping abroad for protection. Eritreans have not voted in over thirty years, the 1997 constitution was never implemented, and our young people are held in indefinite national service. No meeting with Vladimir Putin will feed our people or free our prisoners. Security cooperation with Isaias only means more tools to keep one man in power. We in EBRF have a plan for a democratic transition through regime change, and we are organizing for a free Eritrea that works with the world through law and accountable institutions. @RepJoeWilson @washingtonpost @KjetilTronvoll @afric_insde #EBRF #BlueRevolution #RegimeChange #Eritrea #RedSea

As this post notes, about 80 percent of Eritreans are under the age of 40, and the voices demanding real change are overwhelmingly young. That is no accident. Isaias Afwerki and the PFDJ have given an entire generation indefinite national service, closed universities, no free press and no vote in more than thirty years, so hundreds of thousands have fled through the desert and across the sea. We in EBRF are that generation, and we are organizing with a plan for a democratic transition through regime change, a constitution, an elected government and an end to forced conscription. Eritrea's youth deserve a future at home. @BBCWorld @Mercy4ALL82 @WeldetnsaeG @mrubin1971 #EBRF #BlueRevolution #RegimeChange #Eritrea #PFDJ
Observe the difference. 80% of 🇪🇷 population is under the age of 40. Those demanding fundamental, systemic change in #Eritrea are overwhelmingly young people. More than 200k people are reportedly ready to join the ranks to overthrow this #PFDJ in the near future.

Deploying terrorist forces is all time Isayas regime’s agenda in which it is well versed.Given that the illegal, terrorist EX-TPLF along with its security apparatus is operating from within Eritrea,it is not difficult to foresee the acts of terror that await Ethiopia & its people.

Yemane Gebremeskel, Isaias Afwerki's minister of disinformation, mocks Ethiopia with talk of an emperor who has no clothes. We in EBRF say the only emperor without clothes sits in Asmara. Isaias Afwerki has ruled for over thirty years without one national election, the National Assembly has not met since 2002, and the 1997 constitution was never implemented. The PFDJ accuses its neighbour of fuelling wars while it keeps Eritreans in indefinite national service on a permanent war footing. Only a democratic Eritrea can be a trusted partner for Red Sea security. EBRF has a plan for a democratic transition through regime change in Asmara. @_hudsonc @RepJoeWilson @washingtonpost @DaeronaC #EBRF #BlueRevolution #RegimeChange #Eritrea #RedSea
#Eritrean Information Minister Yemane Gebremeskel sharply criticized #Ethiopia's calls for a role in Red Sea security discussions at the 12th Tana Forum. He accused Addis Ababa of destabilizing #Eritrea and #Somalia, interfering in #Sudan's conflict and pursuing sovereign access to the Red Sea at the expense of regional stability. xitter.cf/hawelti/status/2113992…

@hawelti Why are the #Eritrean people y'all are supposed to govern without a simple basic need like water? Is there no source of water? PFDJ had 35 yrs to do something. No worries, we know it's another tactic to coerce the diaspora for remittence. @UN_HRC @nahlav @hrw @amnesty

A captured fighter paraded by the RSF in Sudan says he was rounded up from his village in Tigray, sent to Eritrea and then pushed into Sudan's war without knowing why. We in EBRF take this account seriously, because it fits what Isaias Afwerki and the PFDJ have done for years. They hold Eritrea's own youth in indefinite national service, they meddle in Sudan's war, and they treat young lives from across the region as tools for their own survival. A democratic Eritrea will keep its army at home and out of foreign wars. EBRF has a plan for that transition through regime change, and we are organizing for it now. @_hudsonc @CmaDawit @washingtonpost @KjetilTronvoll #EBRF #BlueRevolution #RegimeChange #Eritrea #PFDJ
🚨MORE: Captured mercenary from Tigray region says, “I had no idea I would end up in Sudan….we were rounded up from our village and sent to Eritrea…next thing, we needed up in Sudan fighting in a war we had no idea about.” TPLF-Warlords collaborated with the regime of Eritrea to make him cannon fodder in a foreign war. 😭

A new analysis argues that Eritrea's Red Sea coastline and ports could make it Israel's next indispensable ally in the Horn of Africa. We in EBRF agree that Eritrea and Israel share real strategic interests, but no lasting partnership can be built with Isaias Afwerki. For over thirty years he and the PFDJ have traded Eritrea's coast to whichever foreign power helps keep them in power, while Eritreans live without elections, a parliament or the rule of law. EBRF has a strong movement in Israel and a plan for a democratic transition through regime change in Asmara. A free Eritrea with an elected, accountable government will be the stable Red Sea partner Israel and the West need. @mrubin1971 @EGerasouli35992 @BeyeneGerezghe1 @RepJoeWilson #EBRF #BlueRevolution #RegimeChange #Eritrea #RedSea

Eritrea's Red Sea coast is once again being discussed as a strategic asset, this time as a possible anchor for partnership with Israel and the West. EBRF welcomes that conversation, but it has to start from one honest point: a coastline is not a partner. A government is. For more than three decades, Isaias Afwerki and the PFDJ have rented out Eritrea's ports and goodwill to whichever outside power helps keep them in place, while Eritreans themselves have had no national election, no sitting National Assembly since 2002, and the 1997 constitution still shelved. Agreements signed with one man end with that man. They cannot give Israel, the United States or Europe the predictability that real security cooperation needs. EBRF's program offers something different: a peaceful, Eritrean-led democratic transition, constitutional governance, elected and accountable institutions, an independent judiciary, and an end to indefinite national service. Under the leadership of @BlueFront90547 and @BeyeneGerezghe1, and with an active EBRF community in Israel and across the diaspora, we are already building the civic structures a free Eritrea will need on day one. A democratic Eritrea, governed by the rule of law and answerable to its own citizens, will be the stable, trustworthy Red Sea partner the region and its friends are looking for. Partners in Washington and Jerusalem should invest in that future, not in prolonging the past. @StateDept @AsstSecStateAF @SenateForeign @HouseForeign @RepJoeWilson @TiborPNagyJr @mrubin1971 #EBRF #BlueRevolution #RegimeChangeInEritrea #RedSea

Eritreans in the diaspora are once again being pressured to fund the PFDJ's agenda, while the regime talks about peace abroad. @ElizabethTecle is right: Eritrea has no constitution in force, no rule of law and no elected body that can account for a single cent of that money. A regime that was never chosen by the people has no mandate to tax them, and no right to pull children out of school and into endless national service and conflict. Every contribution collected through fear, intimidation or pressure on families back home keeps an unaccountable system alive. The answer is not silence. It is a peaceful, democratic alternative. That is what @BlueFront90547 offers under the leadership of @BeyeneGerezghe1: a peaceful, time-limited transition, the implementation of a constitution, an elected parliament that decides questions of war and peace and controls the public purse, and independent courts that protect every citizen at home and abroad. In EBRF's vision, Eritreans will pay taxes to a government they elected, with budgets debated in public, not to a party that answers to no one. We ask host governments to treat the coercion of their Eritrean residents as what it is: transnational repression. @StateDept @AsstSecStateAF @SenateForeign @HouseForeign @RepJoeWilson @TiborPNagyJr @UN_HRC Eritrean diaspora: stop funding war. Invest in freedom, peace and a constitutional Eritrea. #EBRF #BlueRevolution #RegimeChangeInEritrea #NoMorePFDJTerror

Reports say Asmara wants the African Union headquarters moved out of Addis Ababa to a neutral country as relations with Ethiopia deteriorate. We in EBRF note the irony. Isaias Afwerki has never held a national election, has kept the 1997 constitution frozen for almost thirty years, and has held journalists without trial since 2001. The PFDJ does not want neutral institutions in Africa. It wants another stage for a regime that allows no neutral institutions at home. Eritrea needs regime change, and we in EBRF have a plan and are organizing for a democratic transition. @TiborPNagyJr @mrubin1971 @afric_insde @dw_politics #EBRF #BlueRevolution #RegimeChange #Eritrea #PFDJ

Yemeni fishermen seized in the Red Sea, taken to Eritrean facilities, underfed and forced to carve mountain roads under armed guard. @phelemawi is right: Eritreans recognise this system, because it is the one the PFDJ has imposed on our own people for decades. Indefinite national service has turned generations of young Eritreans into unpaid labour with no end date, no contract and no court to appeal to. Now the same model reaches foreign fishermen at sea. A government that answers to no parliament and no judge will not stop at its own borders. EBRF's program under @BlueFront90547 and @BeyeneGerezghe1 offers a different path: a peaceful, time-limited transition; an end to indefinite national service; independent courts where every detainee, Eritrean or foreign, is charged or released; an elected parliament that decides on war, peace and the use of our coastline; and lawful, cooperative relations with Yemen and every Red Sea neighbour. We ask @StateDept @AsstSecStateAF @SenateForeign @HouseForeign @RepJoeWilson @TiborPNagyJr @UN_HRC to press for independent access to these detainees and to stand with Eritreans working for a constitutional, democratic future. The Red Sea should be a shared space of trade and fishing, not a source of forced labour. #EBRF #BlueRevolution #RegimeChangeInEritrea
The New Arab reports that Yemeni fishermen seized in the Red Sea are being taken to Eritrean facilities, held with little food and forced to build mountain roads under armed guard. We in EBRF know this system well. Isaias Afwerki and the PFDJ have run Eritrea on forced labour for decades through indefinite national service, and now they use captured foreign fishermen the same way. A regime that enslaves its own youth will not respect its neighbours or the law of the sea. This is why we are organizing for regime change, and EBRF has a plan for a democratic transition that ends forced labour and opens the prisons. @martinplaut @KjetilTronvoll @BBCWorld @RepJoeWilson #EBRF #BlueRevolution #RegimeChange #RedSea #PFDJ
