True and well written
Let’s be clear: If I’m not going to sleep with you, I don’t need to know anything about your sexuality. And children—who are not going to sleep with anyone—certainly don’t. Your sexuality is not sacred. It’s not a personality, it’s not a protected class of performance art, and it’s not the center of anyone’s moral universe but your own. Unless we are in a relationship, I am not obligated to acknowledge, affirm, or be exposed to your private desires—especially not in public, and especially not in front of children. This used to be understood. Now it’s called hate. No, We Don’t Owe You an Audience Sexuality belongs in the private realm. It is intimate by definition. If you feel compelled to wear your kink on your sleeve—or on a float, or in a first-grade classroom—you are not inviting understanding, you are demanding submission. You are violating others’ right not to participate. Consent doesn’t vanish because your fetish is “progressive.” If anything, the burden is higher. No one consents to being flashed on the subway. No one consents to a stranger’s arousal. No one consents to a stranger telling their child about masturbation, kink, gender identity, or pornographic categories under the guise of “inclusive sex ed.” Yet all of this is happening now—in public parks, in classrooms, in televised programming. It is not tolerance. It is invasion. Children Are Not Here to Validate You Children are not queer. Children are not sexual. Children do not need to “see themselves represented” in a spectrum of adult desire. This idea—that identity is only valid if sexualized and mirrored—is narcissism, not pedagogy. There is no legitimate reason to initiate a child into the language of sexual preference, gender identity, or alternative lifestyles. The only people who benefit from that dynamic are those looking to normalize boundary violations. Let me state it plainly: Children who are not going to have sex do not need to be exposed to sexuality. Period. Any adult who insists otherwise is not confused. They are grooming. Public Fetishism Is Not Liberation There is a vast difference between being gay and demanding the right to simulate sex acts in front of children. Between being transgender and insisting on teaching kindergartners about breast removal. Between being proud of who you are and insisting the whole world observe your kink play in the street. This is not diversity. This is decay. Men in dog masks being walked on leashes by their lovers are not brave—they are forcing strangers into their psychodrama. This is exhibitionism, and when children are present, it becomes criminal exhibitionism. We used to know this. Peeping, flashing, voyeurism—these were considered red flags. Dangerous behaviors. Early signs of escalation. Now they’re filmed, hashtagged, and funded by public grants. Stop Calling It Love—It’s Entitlement This is not about who you love. It’s about how you demand to be seen. If you need the entire public to witness, applaud, and adapt to your sexuality, you’re not a pioneer—you’re an emotional colonizer. Love does not demand a captive audience. It does not parade past toddlers. It does not demand that schools teach four-year-olds about “preferred pronouns.” Love protects children. Love guards modesty. Love waits. And if you can’t wait—if you need to be seen, affirmed, and obeyed—you’re not talking about love. You’re talking about power. Consent Applies to Culture, Too We teach children that consent is sacred—so why are we failing to apply that lesson to public life? No child consents to drag queen story hour. No parent consents to leather harnesses on city floats. No woman consents to being exposed to male sexuality in the ladies’ room, or in the school library, or anywhere she cannot opt out. Consent is not just for sex. It’s for everything. Attention. Language. Presence. Ideology. Imagery. And we are done pretending we don’t notice when it’s violated. The boundary is back. And we are drawing it in bold.

I’m old enough to remember when corporate media went after Neil Bush for being a Republican. Now they love him for voting against Republicans. Why would anyone care about Neil Bush’s votes? Corporate media are pathetic.

Exactly
The Maryland Democratic Party has lost its way, and that's ME saying it. Y'all run every single part of this state. The governor's office, the legislature, almost every county. And somehow every problem is still Washington's fault? Dude. You own the whole house and you're blaming the neighbors for the leaky roof. And you just admitted in this very post the amendment could have been written more simply. This is literally deciding who represents Marylanders in Congress and you need a law degree to understand it… you admit it should have been written better, so… So why WASN'T it? You had the pen. "Trust us, just this once" is what every politician, especially in Maryland, says right before the next once. Stop gaslighting Marylanders about who's in charge. You are. Fix the potholes, fix the MVA, fix what people pay just to live here, and write things in plain English. Until then, spare us the speeches and grandstanding. Maryland deserves better.

"Sell it to someone else." Good Gawd what a smackdown from Tafoya. xitter.cf/GrageDustin/status/211…

Impressive
Michele Tafoya had an incredible closing statement to end today’s debate. Minnesota is in play for Republicans.

Aww,that’s awesome. Happy Columbus Day!
“I see my Italian lawyer over here, he’s so vicious.” Honored to get an Italian shout-out from President Trump in a room full of Italians at the White House to celebrate Christopher Columbus Day. My Dad, Grandparents (who came to the United States from southern Italy – Castelfranco in Miscano), and my Great Grandparents were no doubt smiling down from heaven. Tomorrow is Christopher Columbus Day – a federal holiday Rescued and Restored by President Donald J. Trump and lots of patriotic Italian Americans! Italian Americans have no better friend than President Trump. He is the GOAT.

H/t to @LisaDeP for this fun idea to run my posts through Grok with the prompt “based on my tweets and the attached photo can you generate a vintage 1960’s movie poster of me?”

Bring back the tomboy.  What happened from 1975 to today?

Friends, when Paul says, “Have no anxiety at all,” he doesn’t mean eliminating all fear and worry. And the clue is in what he says next: “But in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God.” Paul knows that, like an ocean, the surface of our lives will always have crashing waves and winds. But just as the ocean’s depths remain perfectly serene despite the storm above, we, too, can find peace by moving to a deeper and more central place: the place where you are here and now being created by God. Root your life in Christ—and you will find serenity despite any and all anxiety.

And this is one of the many reasons I will vote for @VoteforEsther
In @MontgomeryCoMD, @CMJawando, the dem candidate for county exec, refuses to debate his opponent, @VoteforEsther. Not one of the feckless Dems will call him out on it. Then @arunamiller has the nerve to say he “shows up.” It would be laughable if not so pathetic & hypocritical.

🚨PSA: The wording of Question 3 on your ballot is very confusing. Simply put, a vote for Question 3 is a vote to remove constitutional protections and allow EXTREME partisan gerrymandering in Maryland. Vote AGAINST Question 3 to STOP gerrymandering, defend our constitutional protections, and require fairer maps, districts, and representation. #SaveOurVoice #StopGerrymandering #VoteAgainstQuestion3

*Consumer prices today are 27.2 percent higher than they were in January 2021. *Something that cost $100 when Biden took office now costs about $127. *Biden bears the lion’s share of the blame for that cumulative increase. *The consumer price index rose 21.4 percent from January 2021 to January 2025 (Biden’s term), while it has risen just 4.8 percent since Trump took office. *In other words, of that $27 in rising costs, about $21 came on Biden’s watch. MUST WATCH! @RandPaul is a hero for standing up for free speech. Thank you, Senator @Rand Paul and staff.
Senator .@RandPaul blocked a shortcut to pass the Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA) without a debate or a recorded vote. KOSA is sold as "child safety." The fine print is a censorship bill: platforms decide what kids may see, and the only way to sort kids from adults is to check everyone. Parents are the firewall. A government mandated duty of care is not. Thank you, Senator Paul!

Thank you, @DrRandPaul! One sane voice among senators propelled by moral panic. 'Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) blocked an effort from Sens. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) and Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) on Wednesday to pass by unanimous consent the Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA), a long-sought bill that intends to protect kids in the digital space.' Great news!!! .@RandPaul blocked senators Blackburn and Blumenthal’s effort to pass KOSA by unanimous consent. KOSA is online censorship and surveillance. Shame on these lawmakers for trying to pass these surveillance and digital ID frameworks on the backs of our children!!
