Geno Gold 🥇 Preparation is the great separation. In the biggest games you don’t rise to the occasion, you fall to your preparation. Be great today.

On this date in 2003, Villanova beat UConn in the Big East women’s tournament final, snapping the Huskies’ 70-game winning streak. At the time, it was the longest streak in NCAA D-I women’s basketball history and the second-longest in D-I basketball, men or women. UConn has since topped it twice with 90- and 111-game streaks, the two longest in D-I basketball history.

Eli Manning on youth sports: “I wanna ride with your dad on the car ride home.” That line says it all. Parents: the game ends when the whistle blows. The car ride home should build joy, not steal it. Be that parent.

Girls made it to the Riverhounds Classic Championship yesterday. Tied 1-1, but came home with silver after a tough shoot out. Proud of Juju - always so poised on the field. It wasn’t an easy decision leaving her killer Beadling A team, but we know this is where she’ll grow.
