The harsh reality is, the Shenmue III KickStarter was in 2015 and Shenmue III itself was released in 2019. A lot of time has passed since and we are now in 2026, a whole ELEVEN years on from the KickStarter. And let's all ask ourselves, how much have things progressed since? This series needs to be completed, but it needs to be done right. Anyone who knows their stuff regarding video games, knows that Yu Suzuki is a pioneer and a real legend, who deserves more than this situation. Shenmue has one of the top tier fanbase s, even just purely on a dedication level. Having seen many false dawns through the years, we are yet again at a major crossroads with the franchise. I would like to think @SEGA @SEGA_OFFICIAL can prove fans like myself wrong and actually do right by this franchise. But sadly, I'm sure I'm not alone, in that my faith in them is rapidly disappearing by the day... Prove us wrong SEGA. #LetsGetShenmue4

Game key cards are killing physical media It is an objective fact
SonicHero3D (@SonicHero3D) profile pictureSonicHero3D@SonicHero3DJul 1
I never want to hear that GKCs are "killing physical media" ever again. Especially after what Sony did today. At least you can still resell the bloody things, which you can't do with digital games. GKCs ARE physical media. They're just a very unconventional way of doing it.

We are proud to be releasing Moonlight Pale as a physical game for Switch and PlayStation 5. Not a download code on a box. Not a game key card. A physical disc and cartridge that you 100% own and can play whenever you wish and share with whoever you wish. As it should be.

Extremely disheartening news. Moonlight Pale might be the only Physical release LightWitch and Blue Lily will be able to develop for the Playstation. We'll make sure all our games have a physical release in one platform or another. Regardless of what comes.

BOYCOTT POKOPIA TODAY! A reminder that today the Nintendo Switch 2 game Pokopia is released. However it is a crappy Game Key Card for $69.99! Game Key Cards are not true physical copies and will not work initially without an internet connection. None of the game is on cartridge
