We deplore the 8-month sentence for Kwok Yin-Sang, father of pro-democracy activist Anna Kwok, under Hong Kong’s national security ordinance. This case of transnational repression – targeting a family member of an activist abroad – highlights the erosion of freedoms in Hong Kong.
This week, we joined @tibetinitiative & Civil Society Forum to meet @RKiesewetter. We discussed the reality of TNR in 🇩🇪 and how to better protect our communities.

Yesterday (10/12) on Human Rights Day, Hongkongers, Tibetans, Uyghurs, Christians, Chinese dissidents all gathered at the Chinese embassy in Berlin, demanding consequences to human rights violations. Loudly we say #FreeHongKong!
