Very proud to have worked on this last year! Looking forward to finally getting around to watching it this weekend.

Part 1 of the finale is essentially a countdown to May 24th, so would have been great if that was the date for Part 2, especially as we don’t have any of Part 1 set on that day. Plus then the show would have actually (for now) ended on May 24th so it’s funnier.

He did indeed! This map only has the photos of the places I’ve visited, just so it guarantees people who go visiting know what to expect! I did visit Winchcombe just a couple of weeks ago though, need to add it on!

Not too far away! But that’s Aberavon Beach in Swansea I’m afraid.
Introducing my Doctor Who Filming Locations map!
The map so far features all of the locations that I’ve visited, alongside the photos that I took there. Each Doctor’s era is (of course) signified by a LEGO head of their respective Doctor.

BONUS! This mysterious alien planet from the montage at the beginning of Army of Ghosts (2006) also just so happens to be filmed at Dunraven Bay… allegedly!
6. As Isaac Newton’s Garden (2023)
- The latest appearance for Dunraven Bay was actually Dunraven Gardens, where Isaac Newton met Mrs Merridew and sat under a tree. Fourteen & Donna’s parts were filmed elsewhere and added in.
5. As Cumbria 1207 (2013)
- This one’s a bit lesser known, the bay actually has a cameo-like appearance at the start of The Bells of Saint John!
4. As the Silurian Ark Engine Room! (2012)
- This time the beach acts as an interior location, this is where Brian preaches about trowels.
3. As Alfava Metraxis (2010)
- The site of the crash of the Byzantium, this just so how happened to be one of Matt Smith’s first locations he filmed at.
