“I am. Take me to where you first found these people.”
“Just outside. Wasn’t sure if they made their way in yet. But I imagined you’d be more helpful with it than the Devil would.”

“No. But you have. In the Kitchen, or elsewhere?”
“Some people infected by an unusual virus. Unsure whether they’re more like zombies or vampires. But when they bleed it can burn. Almost as if it were acid. Notice anything like that?”

She had donned her costume tonight, and positioned herself above the city. The breeze from this height felt good, familiar, her inky black tresses gently flowing behind her before she’d turned to the sound in the shadows. “Did I know you before this memory loss, Frank?”
⠀ ⠀ Don't mind him watching. He thought only one of them would be out tonight. ⠀ ⠀

Many would. It’s noble to help, so she owes him.
He'll help her. Not like he's got anything better to do. Plus, what kind of vigilante leaves a dazed and confused woman all by herself?

Not royalty. Pretty sure. Hopefully she’ll piece some more things together sooner rather than later.
If she turns out to be some kind of princess, he's going to facepalm. It's good she has ... something. Something to hold onto.

“Differently?” Her brow furrows deeper; clearly she hadn’t noticed anything if it was the case. “What’s happened?”
“See anything unusual lately? Anyone who bled.. differently?” He inquired, his blank expression could be felt from beneath his mask. It was uncommon for him to head into this ‘territory’ but there was something darker here that required his attention.

… she remembers moments, right now. Not as much as she’d like. Her father was an important man, she remembers that much.
Maybe... he doesn't feel like it. He imagines she was a nice girl if she can remember that far back.

“Lots that required spilling.” She hasn’t seen him for a while — not the one she expected to be lurking in the Kitchen’s shadows.
“Lots of blood on your hands tonight.”

None of that negates him being sweet. Children are innocent.
He doesn't know about that ... maybe he was less of what he is now. Still, not quite naive about the ways of violence.

… oddly enough, she can imagine he was probably a sweet kid.
I used to be Captain America every Halloween.

Halloween weekend is always strange. A hundred Captain America’s in Hell’s Kitchen.

Elektra nods, glancing back over at his poppies. “Hm. Okay. Well if you want to investigate any more places, I’ll tag along.”
"Couple of fronts on Long Island as rat exterminators. Pop their service trucks open and found a whole warload of firearms. The motif stayed the same. Then I trailed them to an HVAC repair company. Poisons. Neurotoxins. Same motif."

⠀ 𝓣here are scars on my body that never healed. But they remind me of something important: every wound is proof that I survived the last fight. ⠀

She watches him go — a soft exhale from her lips once she’s left alone with her thoughts. Before anything else, she finishes her coffee, taking her time with the silence, before she gets dressed. Frank had left her some jeans and a black long sleeved top; her size, with no idea —
"Then in that case, I'll see you when I come back." With that he began to take his leave, but not before arching his neck and lifting his head as if he'd nearly forgotten something, on his heels turning back to grab a silver pistol from a crate before then turning to the exit.

— he’d gotten the clothing from. There’s a faint scent of woman’s perfume on them. Returning to the main area of the bunker, she pauses a moment. Now would be the ideal time to snoop around, to see what other things Frank has hidden in this place he’s made for —

— himself, but ultimately, she opts against it. Something inside of her telling her she doesn’t need to. Instead, she heads outside. She doesn’t remember this city she finds herself in, so to make some use of her time, she’ll wander around — refamiliarise herself.

“I don’t think that needs two of us.” She sits herself down, looking over at him. “Go do your thing. Don’t let me get in the way.”
"To catch a predator," a rare quip for the pulpy killer who leans his weight against the railing, eyes trailing her waltz as he sat idly by.

She stores his comment about a devil away — for now. Taking another sip of her coffee as he moves to put his coat on. “Depends on where you’re going.” She asks, moving out of the kitchen area — if it can be called that.

Around the stool was a long-tailed black leather trench coat. Taking it by the collar, he'd effortlessly glide it around his back as he headed towards an upward hill of steps. "Look, I'm headed out; you can stay or come, but you do put on some pants first... or just underwear."

The mug is slid over to her, and she lifts it into her hands; letting the warmth permeate through the ceramic to her. He asks if she’d seen a devil; Elektra taking a sip of the hot coffee before she answers. It gives her a moment to think. Did she see a devil? She remembers —

"In these dreams.." he started, following with a short, yet poignant pause which added a layer of dramatization to his words. ".. you ever seen a devil?"

— blurs of red, and a man. A man with dark glasses over his eyes and fiery red hair. But not a devil. “No. Should I be remembering one?”
