There's an urgent need to manage our oceans and coasts in a more sustainable way. As the #StateOfTheEnvironment report approaches, we encourage you to read @FutureEarthAus plan which offers 7 recommendations to coordinate ocean and coastal governance across all tiers of govt.
Our oceans and coasts are not bound by jurisdictional boundaries. A coordinated and sustainable management approach is needed.
Today @FutureEarthAus launches a ten-year strategy to ensure healthy coasts and oceans for a just and environmentally sustainable future.
ALT “This strategy outlines the steps needed to transform how we think about, govern and protect oceans and coasts across Australia,” says Dr Tayanah O’Donnell, Director of Future Earth Australia
