I can’t believe there are people who really believe Eren manipulated Historia when he genuinely cared for her and wanted the best for her. She was turning into her Krista persona, and he wanted her to be herself and do what she wanted. She obviously agreed with Eren’s plan.
Historia is literally the only woman he wanted it to protect from harm, he literally chose to fight instead of sacrificing Historia. He chose to rumble the entire world instead sacrificing Historia. Who else did he specifically protect like this in the story? NOBODY.
If Eren destroyed the entire outside world the cycle of racism would literally disappear. There’s nobody else to hate them since their literally dead 😹😹😹😹😹

Every time I see people claim Eren is a “chosen one” character I cringe. Because Eren was clearly chosen to end all the cycles. But Isayama replaced him with Mikasa in the ending .This is why I say he doesn’t belong with these two great characters. He was retconned, they weren’t.

Paul and Anakin stayed consistent throughout their entire story. Paul stopped because Chani died and he clearly loved her. Vader stopped because he loved Luke. Eren stopped because he loved Mikasa…? His adopted sister? Eren was the only one written inconsistently.
