I was wrong about Brandon Johnson being bad for Chicago real estate investors. He’s turned out to be so bad, he’s good.
Our Mayor, his policies, and his allies are so toxic to capital investment that Chicago leads the nation in YoY decrease in apartment construction while also leading the nation in rent growth.
Thank you, Mayor Johnson!

I did. There is absolutely no way Illinois can recover in 2 lifetimes even if we elected people that enacted fiscally sound policies. That's the reality. Sad but true.

The USA has the highest rate of children living in single mother households (3x the global average).
Why do you think that is?

It's common sense: carjacking victims shouldn't be on the hook for traffic tickets for their stolen vehicle. But that's been the City's policy.
We should support victims, not add stress and cost. Today, my proposal to automatically dismiss these tickets passed in City Council.

They’ve destroyed jobs and opportunity for black Chicagoans.
Politicians in Chicago and Illinois make minorities pay a big price compared to other big cities...fewer jobs, lower pay, more poverty and more government dependence. Via @Wirepoints

People say "Capitalists get rich by taking money from others—Jeff Bezos’ $50 billion means the rest of us have $50 billion less!"
Bunk.
That’s MYTH 1 in my “Myths about Capitalism” series.
It’s wrong, says economist @danieljmitchell, because the economic pie grows:
Capitalism Myths: Part 1
Everywhere people trash capitalism. But that’s mostly because they don’t understand it. In this video (and the next), I’ll set the record straight, and debunk 7 myths about capitalism.

A lot of Gen Z has no "rizz." Dating apps are starting to use AI to either help teach young daters the basics of flirting and conversation, or eliminate the need for these skills all together.
