Joining the Cannons is super-utility, @GGilooly from Eastern New Mexico Unicersity. The Cannons are excited to welcome Grant to the team for '26. Grant played in the Valley last summer and had some sucess with the Front Royal Cardinals. He looks to build on the experience to help the Cannons this season. See less

To have success training at @DrivelineBB, you have to learn to problem-solve independently. That means identifying issues on your own and making adjustments accordingly.
It's our job as coaches to keep you on the right path, ensuring the changes you make align with your goals.

“Line drives hitters” and “nothing in top of net” are both literally describing ball flights that you want produced
Improving ball flight??? I’ve been in baseball 40+ years and have never heard “train to improve ball flight”? Ridiculous. Your goal when you train is to be consistent. Line drives hitters. Nothing in top of net! There are no cage HRs!!

Throughout the interview, Boddy emphasized the importance of dialing up the difficulty during training sessions. Driveline challenges hitters in the cage with elite velocity, high spin, and tough angles.
“The worst [our players] are ever going to face is here in the lab. They will never face a big leaguer anywhere near as good as our pitching machines. If they can even have moderate success off the hell that we put them through, then what confidence will they have facing a guy throwing 92 mph? Our practices are horrifying; it’s so difficult.”
