Animatronic Rehearsal is an operatic cat animated by a reconstructed beast’s jaw. Its movements awaken a recording of Mi chiamano Mimì, while a swirling wine glass conjures a grape-filled hurricane that distorts its song into a gargling opera.

Infernal Harvest is a real time transmutation ritual created for the oculartv2 site.
The encoding horn captures human breath patterns and translates them into wind, disrupting a crop circle and activating a tribe of demonic aliens whose movements manipulate a DNA strand.
CELESTIAL HYMN is an animatronic simulation made for the OCULARTV2 site in which an extra terrestrial performs (loop sign)ing harp compositions summoning a celestial apparition that shifts between UFO and angelic form. The BPM is taken from a realtime heart rate sensor.
Neanderthal Palette is a real-time drawing work for the oculart site. A physical stirling engine is connected to an infrared sensor that reads the flywheel RPM and drives a mechanical system drawing on cave walls.
A second infrared flame sensor detects real fire.

Well... I found @GLillemon on Instagram, cold-emailed him, & now we've worked together for 6 months.
He is one of the most brilliant, technical, original minds I've encountered in digital art.
Oculart represents 25 years of net art history with a highly distinguishable aesthetic & composition.
Now we are making this collectible.

Geoffrey uses the code itself to generate them. The living systems creates its own GIF.
This is the definition of art that creates art.
