I don’t have all the answers but I love baseball because of the ups and downs and constant grind. So here’s some thoughts for the “X hitting” war that is going on right now.

Love how long shoulders stay square as hands get going with backside! Great hitters hit great pitching and great swings help us do that longer and more consistently against all types of pitchers, pitches, locations, and timings! Courtesy of the great Dustin Linds google drive.

🚨Uncommitted Sophomore Spotlight🚨 James Hansen had himself a big day on Friday going 3-5 with a double and 2 RBI’s! The #uncommitted sophomore has been swinging a hot bat all fall long. A couple more chances left to get out to see him this fall! @James_Hansen33

DECOY TEHNIQUE! Teach it, rep it, then watch your guys strike. Decoy at second, lull the defense to sleep, then strike like a cobra and take third on momentum.🐍🐍🐍 And as always, make it the best part of their day!

Did you know footwork for tagging at 3B on a sac fly changes w/ the ball? Foul down the line behind you: R foot on bag's front edge, L foot toward home. Ball in front: flip it — L foot on bag, R foot toward home. Either way: chest + eyes on ball, loaded to break & score.

Managing the @LowellSpinners this summer. We're running delay steals at a crazy clip — and not getting thrown out. It's not luck. We know the technique that works and we're systematic about when to use it. Shout outs @CoachRCaulf and @AnthonyS_44 for great work with our runners.
