Great day last Friday with our Trust team, look at leadership in education and building trust in our colleagues using outdoor activities. Just like we do with our students.

We ensure all of our students get the opportunity to access the outdoors every year they are with us.

We are building “nature connectedness” and environmental awareness into our annual residentials for our students, to not only get them outdoors but to help them better connect with it.
@GSTSchools #outdooreducation
Britain ranks bottom in Europe for nature connectedness, which is linked to mental wellbeing & environment friendly lifestyles.
Getting young people outside will also increase physical activity.

"You don't have to change who you are, or how you should be, just to fit in." Thank you Jake Daniels for your bravery, which will be inspiring and helpful for so many young people.

The Schools Bill must recognise the importance of accessible, non-formal education in levelling the playing field, providing vital skills for work and opening up opportunity to all young people – including those who have disengaged with school during the pandemic.
