Rachel Reeves must live on a different planet! 🪐
But she sums up Labour’s attitude – tax the ‘bad’ guys.
Whether that’s employers, landlords, private schools or someone else they’ve decided isn’t taxed enough.
Because so few of them have ever worked in the private sector, they simply don’t understand the consequences.
Fewer jobs. Higher rents. Schools closing down.
Rachel Reeves’ Jobs Tax has crushed our employment market.
Vacancies have dropped to their lowest level in 12 years outside the pandemic. There are 176,000 fewer jobs available than when Rachel Reeves entered the Treasury.
That is what happens when you attack employers, tax jobs and increase red tape.
Instead of getting a grip and scrapping some of Rachel Reeves’ terrible decisions in his Budget, John Healey has doubled down. He is making exactly the same mistakes she did, taking the tax burden to a record high.
We Conservatives won’t be making the same mistakes. I’ll be a tax-cutting Chancellor, because you can NEVER tax and spend your way to prosperity.

Shabana has made a serious mistake surrendering to Labour MPs. So I’m putting people on notice - when we get into government we will scrap this weak policy.
Immigration is too high. Labour are making a bad situation much, much worse.
The Conservative Party is under new management. I accept this problem started under a previous Conservative govt. Many of those in that Cabinet have gone to Reform where they belong.
And I’ve got a proper plan to fix it👇

Labour’s Treasury Minister admitted she doesn’t think employers are working people.
No wonder. The entire Cabinet has less private-sector experience combined than our Shadow Chancellor.
They’re no longer the Labour Party. They’re the Welfare Party.

Reform UK Leicestershire this week: infighting, squabbles, a burn book's worth of headlines and one very angry former leader. 💅
One can only imagine how he was feeling… 🤣

🔥 Watch @Katie_Lam_MP absolutely dismantle Labour’s shambolic handling of Local Government Reorganisation.
Confusion, chaos and councils left in limbo.
Labour have made a complete mess of LGR – and Conservatives aren't letting them get away with it.
👇 Watch her take Labour to task.

🎁Christmas Bazaar coming soon🎄
A great local event supporting Scannappeal providing lifesaving medical equipment like the mobile mammography screening unit for Bucks. A chance to get ahead on some Christmas shopping and the food sounds amazing! 8th November at Crowne Plaza.

How’s that going, @RobertJenrick? 🤔
Southwell by-election, in your own constituency:
Cllr Penny Rainbow - Conservative: 2,019
Reform: 1,159
Labour: 646
Lib Dem: 545
Green: 88
A Conservative majority of 860, and Reform beaten by almost 2 to 1.
Picked your chicken run seat yet? 🐔

As the prophecy foretold
“I don’t care if he’s the Chair of the Defence Select Committee”
A churlish and ill-tempered outing from Wes Streeting at the Despatch Box as he undermines Tan Dhesi and the Labour-chaired Defence Select Committee that holds the Defence Secretary to account.
This is entirely the wrong tone to adopt.

The Labour Government are changing planning processes. Removing the automatic call-in powers of elected councillors.
@Conservatives from across the country have petitioned to stop this. Today I was able to help deliver that petition to No.10.

Poor budget. Nothing on defence beyond more process and what little was in it included the BILLIONS MORE on borrowing costs with no plan to reduce this.

Prices up. Energy bills up. Mortgages up.
The country’s tax burden and borrowing at record highs.
I love a good gherkin, but the government’s response is not equal to the scale of the challenges.

John Healey will be a total hypocrite if he fails to properly fund defence in the Budget.
No more excuses.
If he fails, he should resign.
