BREAKING: Sen. Rand Paul is moving to hold Dr. Anthony Fauci in contempt of Congress after Fauci invoked the Fifth Amendment over a hundred times during last week's Senate hearing.
The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee is set to vote Thursday morning on Paul's contempt resolution, which says Fauci refused to answer questions despite being under subpoena.
Paul argues Fauci's Fifth Amendment protections no longer applied because of his presidential pardon and that Fauci also waived any remaining privilege by delivering opening testimony.
Fauci refused to answer anyway, which Paul says amounts to obstruction of a congressional investigation.

The Supreme Court just gave Trump the power to deport people fleeing for their lives. Make no mistake, Trump did this, but Congress can reverse it. It's time for Congress to show some courage.
Congress must take action and pass a permanent pathway to citizenship for TPS holders, now, without delay. We cannot allow our neighbors, friends, and family, people who have lived, worked, and raised families here for years, to be ripped from our communities.

The Supreme Court just gave Trump a green light to deport people who followed every rule.
TPS holders registered with the government. Passed background checks. Worked legally. Paid taxes. Raised their families here and contributed to their communities.
Congress must immediately act to pass the American Dream and Promise Act and give eligible TPS holders permanent protections and a pathway to citizenship.
