More than just a workout. It’s about building relationships, stepping outside our comfort zones, and connecting with the community we represent.
Year 3 of an incredible relationship with the YMCA! Huge thanks to Anna, Brittany, Megan, & Missy for pushing our guys this morning!
More than weight on a bar. These results are earned through consistency, discipline, early mornings, and hard work when nobody's watching.
Proud of the standard these guys are building. One rep at a time.

The standard is being set at every grade level. These guys are putting in the work, competing, and getting stronger together.
The future is built in the weightroom. Keep stacking reps. Keep raising the standard.

Numbers will be out later but I came away from this morning’s max day extremely impressed with this group. The effort, competitiveness, and work ethic in that room are what building a winning program looks like. Proud of the work these guys are putting in. #GriffinBaseball
Today, our guys dedicated their workout to those they’re thankful for.
To the supporters behind these guys, thank you for every sacrifice & early morning.

Listen to the audio on the video. Good teams communicate when times get tough. That's what I took from today, these guys will compete and build each other up but also hold each other accountable. I love what they're building and what these guys are doing for the program.
Competition.
That’s what this offseason is about.
Another week, another lead change. Gray is back on top.
Special shoutout to the Black Team. Only 5 guys today, and they could’ve easily coasted. Instead, they showed up, competed, and showed out.

Gaining Weight
Some bad calories (ice cream, fast food, etc.) are OK and at times necessary if you are pounding the weights and incredibly active.
I think high level athletes and or people that have been or are really strong would agree.
6000 calories daily.
Weight Room. Lift heavy weight.
Hydration. Gallon of water daily.
Creatine and Protein.
Sleep.
Shoutout to our Top 3 Gainers from September:
Zac Sherman +145 lbs
Kael Beery +135 lbs
Kody Cap +135 lbs
These numbers represent total weight added across our tracked lifts.
Keep stacking days. Keep getting stronger.
DO YOUR JOB.

Rain changed the plan. It didn’t change the competition.
After another week in the weight room and morning workouts, we’ve got a new team wearing the belts.
Show up. Compete. Do Your Job.
One month in. We’re just getting started.

One of the biggest winners of the day. Pair of hits in gameplay.
Swing has good tempo. Aggressive leg-kick, but on time. Average runner, plays fast. Dirtbag. Plays all over the 💎. Hit .423 last year.

Such a cool moment this morning.
This morning before our workout started we talked about being better than average. Persevering when it gets hard.
By the end of the workout, Roman showed us exactly what that looked like.
Average stops when it gets hard. We don’t.

Today’s Friday morning workout was about more than baseball.
2,977 lives lost. 343 first responders who never made it home. 110 floors of the World Trade Center
343 pushups. Multiple 110 yard exercises. One purpose: to honor & remember.
