Against all odds, Leila Muxinga graduated from NUST on 10 October 2025 - after 10 years. Diagnosed with Lupus in 2010, she suffered a stroke in 2020 that left her bedridden for two months with vision and memory difficulties. Raised by a single mother in Swakopmund, she persevered through invisible battles. NUST recognised her extraordinary journey with an award for patience.
