Also one thing I wanted to see from the Raiders this year is no quit and in 2 games already they have quit and that’s on the coaching staff.
It’s time to talk about Spytek. We can like the things he says but what has he done? None of the good players on this team are his doing. Dean is good and Stukes has moments but other than that… what? Where’s the instant impact rookies like the Browns & 49ers got this year?!
Kubiak definitely deserves more time but his offensive play calling has been kind of lazy and that’s supposed to be his thing.
If you thought letting go of Daniel Carlson was a mistake you didn’t watch the last 2 years of Raiders football. He regressed each year dramatically, it was time to make a change and I’m glad they did.
I think most of Raider Nation, myself included, thought the Raiders made a mistake letting Daniel Carlson walk this offseason and replacing him with Matt Gay.
But Gay has been excellent this year, missing just one kick, while Carlson has continued to struggle in New Orleans. The Raiders clearly made the right decision, and they deserve credit for it.
