This is such a sad advert with such a poor message.
Nope...not for me! 😠 This years John Lewis Christmas ad, in summary. Nan needs a hug, rude kids barge past her, ignoring her completely. Kids don't like Nans childhood presents, so Nan goes out shopping to John Lewis to buy things they like to placate them. Nan eventually gets her hug, when the spoilt grandkids get the presents they want. Oh, and a rickshaw ride round London for good measure! An absolutely dreadful story of kids attitudes towards the elderly today, and blatant consumerism - I for one, won't be shopping there this year! 🎁 πŸŽ…πŸŽ„

The lovely library full of bean bags and comfy places to hide with a good book in my home town got shut down when I was a teen. A new one opened, clinically clean and full of computers, never saw anyone in there. I only went a couple of times, but didnt want to read at a desk.

Since having a little desk top diffuser in my room my skin isn't dry at the end of the day and my excema isn't half as bad... plus my room doesn't smell of teenagers πŸ˜‚ top tier investment

Someone once told me "you can teach a student a lot about a little, or a little about a lot" there's so many ways to read this. But should we cover more content in less detail, or less content in more detail?

Fantastic example of a modern day peacemaker even better that he was besties with the Dalai Lama #AQARS
On this day in 1986, Desmond Tutu Awarded Nobel Peace Prize. South African Archbishop Desmond Tutu received the Nobel Peace Prize for his nonviolent struggle against apartheid. This global recognition boosted the international anti-apartheid movement and highlighted South Africa’s racial injustices.
