Regarding Liam Palmer’s statement, I want to make something clear, respectfully but firmly. Why would one of our own supporters, knowing how easily they could be identified and held accountable, make such a comment? The account in question appears to be a fake profile, with a name that has since been changed. That raises serious questions about who is actually behind it and their intentions. Let me be absolutely clear: racism has no place at Sheffield Wednesday, or anywhere else. We categorically condemn it and stand firmly alongside every one of our players, regardless of race, nationality or background. However, condemning racism and establishing who is responsible are two separate things. Please don’t automatically point the finger at Sheffield Wednesday supporters without evidence. Doing so risks unfairly tarnishing an entire fanbase with accusations that have not been substantiated. If the individual responsible is proven to be one of our own, they deserve to be held fully accountable. But until then, let’s deal in facts, not assumptions. Stand against racism. Stand with our players. But don’t condemn an entire fanbase without proof. #SWFC #ProudWednesday @TheWedVoice
