Well, that was a long break. My mind feels cleansed from a lack of doomscrolling, and it’s an old habit I’ll likely never fall back into for my own sake.
I’m calm, patient, and far less tense than I used to be.

Perhaps "poop" or "rape" could have been the Time persons of the year. Because they already sort of are.

The UK is entering into a schizophrenic age where it is legal to marry and fuck your cousin, but if you record it then it's 6 years in prison.
Tomorrow, 3 categories of pornography will become illegal under the Crime and Policing Act 2026. Our new poll shows the public support the banning of each type
-Porn depicting someone who appears or is pretending to be under 16: 88% support
-Porn depicting strangulation/suffocation: 78%
-Porn depicting apparent incest or pretend incest: 77%
Putting anyone in jail and registering them as a sex offender for consensual acts between adults should scare a lot more people.

45 attorney generals care more about creating a honeypot of data for hackers and arresting everyone who disagrees with them online than they do children.
What a clown world we live in now where these people have glass bones, paper skin, and fragile egos.
45 attorneys general have written to Congress demanding it quickly pass the Senate’s Kids Online Safety Act, with the "duty of care" intact.
That clause makes platforms liable for content a regulator decides is harmful, so sites will delete lawful speech to stay out of court.
The AGs openly describe their $17 billion Meta settlement as a stepping stone. That deal forces Meta to age-check every Facebook and Instagram user with ID or a face scan, and both sides agreed never to challenge it as unconstitutional.
They also want KOSA to leave their own state powers untouched, so they can keep adding rules on top. They want one federal standard and fifty extra ones as well. Every version ends with an ID check.

You know what, that’s a reasonable response that directly addresses TheQuartering’s claim, this guy seems pretty sharp-IS THAT FUCKING WINGS
Replying to @TheQuartering
No. Texas is what happens when you systematically gut the middle class, hand out tax breaks to political allies, and protect powerful people who should be held accountable. Iran has supposedly been just three weeks away from developing a nuclear weapon for as long as I can remember, and our felon-in-chief was apparently the only one foolish enough to buy into the latest round of fearmongering.
We're living in a country stretched to its breaking point. People are financially exhausted, housing is increasingly out of reach, incomes aren't keeping up, and families are questioning whether they can even afford to have children. That's not a healthy economy or a functioning society.
And let's not pretend this is some isolated political trend. Every major Republican president in my lifetime has been associated with war, economic turmoil, or policies that have further weakened the American middle class. At some point, people need to stop looking at campaign slogans and start looking at the actual results. The middle class is disappearing, and the people responsible keep asking for another chance to run the country.

I just think that nothing says "human rights cause of our lifetime" like harassing children out of attending their own film premiere.
🚨🚨Arabella Stanton and the other child stars of HBO's 'HARRY POTTER'' series will NOT attend the premiere amid fears of protests.

So it’s not a licensing thing, it’s a Chinese censorship thing.
The game all about protecting democracy from tyranny abroad, having to censor itself for everyone to appease communists.
Fascinating.
We're sorry to all the patriots missing the National Anthem from the Raise the Flag mission. We are aware that this is detrimental to your solemn duty to pay respects and pledge allegiance to Super Earth. Select music tracks in Helldivers 2 have been removed due to regional distribution considerations. We appreciate the community's understanding.
- “They only hate the previews because it’s the internet being negative”
- “Ignore the scores and play the game yourself”
- “Stop judging it by what you’ve seen online, I’m having a blast”
- “The internet is WRONG, it’s selling fine”
Can’t wait for “it’s your fault it failed”.
I am a 23 year old man, I’m perfectly capable of my own thoughts and opinions. Statements like “it’s those evil e-celebs” take agency away from the customer and makes them out to be idiots.
Believe it or not, I tend to disagree with my favorite YouTubers a lot.
