Caltrans is continuing construction on SR-14. If you're driving at night this week, here is what you need to know:
📅 Monday, Oct. 26-Friday, Oct. 30
⏰ Nightly from 8 p.m.-6 a.m.
Full freeway closure:
🚧 Southbound SR-14: Avenue A to Palmdale Boulevard
🚧 Northbound SR-14: Palmdale Boulevard to Avenue A
Ramp closures:
🛣️ Palmdale Boulevard: Northbound on-ramps from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
🛣️ Rancho Vista Boulevard: Northbound on-ramp from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
🛣️ Avenue P: Southbound on-ramp from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
🛣️ 10th Street West: Northbound and Southbound on- and off-ramps from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Residents and local businesses near the freeway might experience noise, vibrations and grinding from construction activities. Detour signs will be posted; expect delays and please use alternate routes.
