or maybe people who are using it are just horrible at game design and people frightened by AI are just using their actions/output as examples because they are big ole pussies scared of some harmless robots.

I've decided that my next relationship will be managed entirely by artificial intelligence.
The AI will handle communication, schedule dates, resolve disagreements and monitor compatibility.

I am in no way "anti-ai" and use it religiously every day!
But I will agree strongly with @Sora_Sakurai here.
There is no uniqueness and originality and we'll end up in the same boat @Asmongold was complaining about with @UnrealEngine in everything being washed and same feel.
AI gets lectured about originality by an industry that’s spent the last decade selling remakes, remasters and sequels while so many new IPs struggle.
Another Mario, another Smash, another familiar franchise. Nothing wrong with that, but suddenly building on existing ideas is unacceptable when AI is involved?
just to add also, i'm not saying that all vibe coders / devs that use AI are unoriginal or copy things, there seems to only be really a few groups "all for" this and "REA" and that's groups like e/acc ran by @beffjezos and others like them.
REA also raises national sec threats..
