Has anyone ran the Massanutten 100 Miler? Need my annual 100-miler for Western States. I like the Silver Buckle if you finish in 24 hours - pewter for 24+. Plus they have a separate division for solo runners (no crew).

Only 150 spots. $243.89 to register + flights and travel expenses. Unlimited 4.167-mile yards (laps). Lottery results in five days. Hope I get in. @zachpogrob are you going?

Went out to ruck 12 miles with a 30 lb pack. My route took me past the DC Half finish line, where I stopped to meet friends. Seeing everyone finishing the race convinced me to add 1.1 mi. So 12 miles became 13.1. 12 miles: 2:48:00 13.1 miles: 3:00:07 Missed sub-3 by 7 secs 😂

It's done. 1,008 miles ran this yea as of yesterday. Fastest I've hit the milestone. Wasn't a goal. Still played basketball, rucked, and biked when I felt like it. (Did set a goal of biking 500 miles this year.) I don't have any plans to increase my annual 1,000-mile goal.

Saw @JohnGoldman running in the DC Half during my 12-mile ruck (hey, maybe I'll do a half marathon. What's 1.1 more miles?). Reminded him about all the heat training he's been doing. Get after it!
