You people know nothing about causes of wealth of nation.
You are ignorant, and I hate that twitter provides a platform to say foolish things like this.
I challenge you to a debate on this topic and I cannot wait to make people see how foolish this take is.
This is correct.
Those arguing simply do not know countries rise and develop.
Corruption should be tackled but tackling corruption doesn’t necessarily make a country develop.
What is funny is that this administration hasn’t really jumped on the “tackle corruption” mantra like previously administrations did but has done very well in tackling corruption across different sectors than previous administration.
A leaking bucket will never never be enough, no matter how big the bucket is.
Much of what is said in this video may sound counterintuitive to a Nigerian whose mind has been conditioned, for decades, to believe that corruption is the country's biggest problem.
If you are not an Obidient, this is especially for you. Take a moment to reflect on it. And do not leave with the idea that the argument is "corruption is not a major problem." That conclusion only comes to those who attack what they assumed was said before hearing what was actually said.

As usual, the Obidients are in the comments, wielding the only weapon in their toolbox: insults. h/t @Themiconshow
Omo. Our real problem is the quality of education.
Because there’s serious trouble if people think this way.
JJ Omojuwa is right. Our major problem is NOT corruption as many Nigerians have been raised to believe. Our biggest problem is inadequate wealth creation/revenue challenge.
South Africa comfortably does an annual budget of $130billion compared to Nigerias measly <$40billion for a 230 million population.
We must stop barking up the wrong tree.
A lot of people lack Fundamental Economic knowledge.
They just don’t understand how the economic system works.
It’s quite pathetic that we give ignorant people platform and allow the worst of us represent us.
You really fell off bro. Please tell us what will happen for removing posters that are even defacing the state in the first place.
FBI will pick you up because of Posters.
Damn!!!!!!!!
Corruption is only bad when I’m not involved. When I’m involved I’ll defend it.
Stop complaining and wait for your bread and oil remuneration. Prado is for the big boys.
Did they give you the Prado car, or your own is bread and 5k ?
Physics wasn’t built on top of maths.
Maths was built to explain physics.
Replying to @_______WF @drealbigvirg
Nope, I don't think so, we don't take math seriously in Nigeria. We think maths is only used for adding money sums and calculating profit and lost.
Math is everything, that's why Physics was built on top of Math.

"We paid billions to be ministers under Tinubu, and that's why he must complete 8 years so we can recover our money" — APC spokesperson Alwan Hassan.
Rubbish.
You people criticize everything.
Pastor Bolaji had the perfect opportunity to correct these women’s mentality and address the materialistic mindset behind their dating choices.
Instead, he seemingly missed the opportunity to teach them something meaningful by ending the service prematurely, perhaps because he didn’t want to offend his own congregants. 🤦♀️
The women were openly talking about relationships driven by financial benefits, yet the congregation responded with cheers of “Men Dey!” 😂💔
Must a woman reach menopause before she understands the consequences of her choices? Must she sleep with countless men in search of an “Odogwu” before she learns that money alone cannot sustain a healthy relationship?
The church should be a place where people are corrected, challenged, and guided toward better values, not just entertained and applauded.
Sometimes, I genuinely wonder what this generation of churches stands for. Is it about transforming lives, or does correction suddenly become difficult when it might offend members or affect the church’s pocket?
Not every moment calls for applause. Sometimes, people need the truth, even when it makes them uncomfortable. 💔🙏
Rubbish.
As a civil engineer, I find it surprising that people who have no engineering training will boldly fault engineering design decisions without understanding the background reason.
The real question any critic should ask is: are the reasons behind this design change genuine?
You are laughing with emojis because you are looking at a mega-infrastructure project through the lens of a tailor.
A road route is not drawn in permanent ink. The diversion of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway from the immediate shoreline is not a mistake; it is a calculated decision based on very practical realities.
First, the original route directly clashed with the landing stations of Nigeria's international submarine cables. Building over them would mean risking a massive internet and telecommunications blackout for the entire country.
Second, sticking strictly to the old coastal line meant the government would have to destroy multi-billion Naira investments, established resorts, and ancestral communities. One of them is Okun-Ajah.
Therefore, diverting the road slightly inland saves the government billions in compensation and protects people's homes and livelihoods.
Again, one thing we must not forget is that the Atlantic Ocean is aggressive. Because of severe coastal erosion, building a permanent highway right on the water's edge is dangerous.
As such, moving the road inward creates a safe buffer against ocean surges so the highway does not wash away in a few years.
Anything outside of this is a political talk. And I am not interested in that.
Engineering is about solving real-world problems. So next time, before you laugh at a structural diversion, understand the facts driving it.
The first one happened between 1982-1985. One man was a common denominator.
Again, Economics should be compulsory for anybody vying for political positions.
This is embarrassing.
