I must confess it will be hard to see real development in Nigeria. How do people judge a government to have failed in 8 months?😆
@officialABAT, let's go back to our fuel subsidy & forex arbitrage regime, pls.
I was too optimistic of our ability to build anything. Let's chop!
Our TV stations are not interested in things like this. They only want a new president who would stop all the reforms so that they can keep complaining every morning on their shows.

While Yorubas cling to the last generation, Igbos have produced current authors of global repute. The days of Achebe vs Soyinka was laced with tribalism yet it was interesting as it pushed the two icons to greater hights.
Today Igbos are the sole leader at the top while Yorubas grasp to the straw in the world of academia, is there any more indication of academic decline in Yorubaland than that today none of their authors of this generation can rival Chimamanda Adichie.
For a third most educated tribe in Nigeria, it won’t be surprising if at some point they realize they have no competition with the No 1 which is AlaIgbo.
You see this doctor ba? She is a disgrace to the profession, her alma mater and the black race as a whole. She admits to the fact that the Nigerian government gave her subsidized education but today she practices in France. What did Nigeria gain in return from her? Nothing.
To rub salt into the injury she inflicted on Nigeria, she is now violently advocating that Nigeria, a resource constrained country must continue to provide free tertiary education to citizens through her ridiculous anti-NELFUND advocacy.
This one will fail spectacularly if given a public office to run. She is all emotions and no sense beyond her narrow field of medicine.
Let me explain this to you assuming you have a brain to comprehend it.
Before Tinubu came, you don’t need a loan to attend a federal university.
Tinubu himself (during their days) attended university FREE. They even gave them food.
During my years, got Admission into OAU in 2004. I paid 2,450 as school fees. I received bursary (free money). For the state, it’s about 5,000 and the federal is around that range.
So the loan you’re celebrating was given to us free in multiple folds.
That’s why people like me are Sad when I see you celebrating your Captivity.
What Tinubu did was, he made school fees price unbearable and made you indebted with nothing to show for it.
The synthesized campaign against the successful NELFUND programme is just another failed opposition exertion. A tilt against the mill.
I wish we had nelfund that time, my passage through OAU would have been easier (of course 6 years became 9 years due to ASUU strike). Furthermore, the load i had to carry afterwards would after been lighter...
Its safe to say that the Nigerian opposition parties have nothing to campaign with. They are lost.
Its pitiable that these discredited politicians found some mischievous youths to use for this disgraceful campaign against a laudable programme.
Nigeria's educational system is being fixed one step at a time. Be part of this move.
Just send Otunba Showunmi to go tame this wild cat called rufai abeg. I love how he handles errant media people these days.
At what point does the @nbcgovng begin to move in on these guys ?
I can’t begin to wrap my head around how an interviewer thinks it’s cool to say his guest is a “rambler”; “you’re out of depth Mr Morka and you’re just rambling…”

PETER OBI'S PCC INAUGURATION SPEECH
"...anybody who rigs the next election, we will rig him..."
Audience: "...we will count him..."
Me: these people are not serious.🤣
" President Tinubu has never slept in Bayelsa..." Pitobi.
This man's tokenistic understanding and approach to politics will always be funny.
@PeterObi's brain size would compare favourably with that of a jelly-fish.
Peter Obi has cast that aura of weakness and incompetence on Kwankwanso. I pity the man. He looks lost beside the malaysian cap wearing man.
President Tinubu’s Government Lacks the Capacity to Deal With Nigeria’s Problems; He Does Not Have the Energy Required for Nigeria; He Must Go Home - Obi
We need him to go home because Nigeria cannot be governed by his energy. Nigeria needs a president who will be available and be there at any location in the country that has a problem. We cannot be in government, and 600 people will be kidnapped and taken into the bush; we will go into that bush with them.
Peter Obi, Presidential Candidate, NDC
Oh, i see it now, Professor Utopia is Peter Obi's coach. All those references to Malaysia, Indonesia etc. are from this man's tutorial .
Norway uses its oil wealth to support public services, including education. Young Norwegian students can attend public universities without tuition fees, while children benefit from free public primary and secondary education. Nigeria is also an oil-producing country, we should borrow a leaf from Norway and turn our oil wealth into better schools, affordable university education, and opportunities for young people.
Our natural resources should improve the lives of our people, not just enrich a few, stop defending the politicians who are impoverishing you with their inhumane policies.
ADC cannot even pay staff at its secretariat just like @atiku did to NITEL and Nigeria Airways staff. To destroy the masses he claims to love is his stock in trade.

UNPAID STAFF SALARIES: NIGERIANS SHOULD REJECT ABUBAKAR AND ADC CANDIDATES
It has come to our attention that the National Working Committee of the African Democratic Congress, led by Senator David Mark as Chairman and Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola as Secretary, has refused and neglected to pay party staff for over a year.
We find it unconscionable that a political party that has made many grandiose promises to hoodwink Nigerians owes its workers for more than 12 months. Owing staff who come to work every day and who rely on the salaries for their daily sustenance is wicked and reprehensible.
With this development, Nigerians can now see the emptiness and insincerity of those parading themselves as 'new saviours'.
We have clearly stated that ADC leaders and their presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, do not mean well and can do nothing for our country. Their desperation for power is driven by personal aggrandisement and venomous ill will against President Bola Tinubu. A party that cannot pay its cleaners and workforce cannot be entrusted with our country's affairs.
Atiku Abubakar, the ADC's leader and Presidential candidate, has a reputation for owing his employees. While he regularly junkets to the UAE, staff at his Gotel Communication and other businesses also went months without pay and staged protests over unpaid salaries and other benefits.
The record of the ADC General Secretary, Rauf Aregbesola, on paying workers' salaries and pensioners in Osun State, where he was a governor for 8 years, was abysmal. As governor, he mismanaged the state's finances to the point that he could not pay workers. His government thus introduced quarter-salary and, at times, half-salary payments. As for pensioners, he abandoned them for more than four years. Many died because they could not afford the basics of life.
We are therefore not surprised that ADC, harbouring birds of the same feather, cannot pay its workers' salaries.
We are sounding a warning to Nigerians and working people now: reject ADC. Reject Atiku Abubakar and reject all ADC candidates in the next general elections. They do not have the interest of our country and our people at heart. A party that aspires to govern Nigeria and which cannot be trusted with something as basic as the management of its own affairs and the welfare of its workforce should be rejected by Nigerians.

Seven 2026 SUVs Worth ₦1.12bn: Inside APC’s Lavish Campaign Spending As Hardship Hits Nigerians Harder

TINUBU MUST EXPLAIN LUXURY SUV GIFTS TO APC YOUTHS WHILE NIGERIANS GO HUNGRY — ATIKU.
Former Vice President and African Democratic Congress presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has accused President Bola Tinubu of presiding over a grotesque spectacle of executive excess: the reported distribution of 2026 model luxury SUVs, each worth more than ₦150 million, to APC youth leaders while millions of Nigerians are crushed by hunger and soaring costs.
Atiku said it was a brazen insult to ask Nigerians to endure hardship while party loyalists receive vehicles worth a fortune. He demanded an immediate public explanation from President Tinubu and the Presidency: who is paying for these SUVs, and why is such lavish political spending taking place while ordinary families struggle to afford food and transport?
In a statement issued by Phrank Shaibu, Director of Strategic Communication of the ADC Presidential Campaign Council, Atiku said:
"The APC National Youth Leader says these vehicles were donated by First Lady Oluremi Tinubu. Nigerians deserve to know where the money came from to buy and distribute so many 2026 model SUVs, each worth more than ₦150 million, for political mobilisation.
"The First Lady holds no elected or executive office. She is only a domestic appendage of the office of President. Were these vehicles bought with her personal funds, donations or public resources? Who paid for them? What was the total cost? The Presidency must provide a clear account. Nigerians cannot be expected to accept a fleet of extraordinarily expensive vehicles for party loyalists without knowing who financed them.
"At a time families cannot afford food, transport and other basic necessities, these gifts are a brazen insult to the people. The government has found a way to provide luxury SUVs for APC youth leaders, yet millions of Nigerians are still waiting for meaningful relief from the cost of living crisis. This is not merely a question of misplaced priorities. It is one of the most outlandish displays of executive recklessness in our history.
"First, APC women leaders reportedly received luxury vehicles. Now, according to the National Youth Leader, APC youth leaders are receiving SUVs from the First Lady. The earlier gifts came on the eve of the abduction of schoolchildren in Oyo State. Now another lavish round of political giving is taking place while Nigerians face hunger, insecurity and hardship.
"While Nigerians continue to ask where the savings from subsidy removal have gone, the Presidency must explain how such costly gifts are being funded. If the vehicles were paid for privately, the source of the funds should be disclosed. If public resources were used, the government must identify who authorised the spending and under what legal authority.
"The scale of these gifts raises grave questions about whether our collective patrimony is being diverted to buy political loyalty. Nigeria cannot be run as a captured state, where wealth and influence serve the powerful while ordinary citizens are left to struggle.
"The same youth leader who made the gifts public is reportedly travelling by private jet. That image of extraordinary privilege stands in jarring contrast to the hardship facing ordinary Nigerians. The Presidency must stop treating questions about wealth and spending as an inconvenience. Nigerians have a right to ask where the money came from.
"Nor is this culture of privilege confined to party officials; it reaches the very household of the President. His own son, Mr Seyi Tinubu, has been pictured, in widely circulated images, wearing a Richard Mille RM 67-02 Sébastien Ogier, a timepiece that sells for close to half a million dollars ($500k), while the same government asks ordinary Nigerians to endure hardship, tighten their belts and wait patiently for relief that never seems to arrive.
Since mummy twins, @ayomairoese decided to follow the inglorious footsteps of Rufai Oseni on that show, i knew she would sooner than later lose her marbles. Now her butterfly has entered the bush and may never come out again.
