Tories have fell into the Brexit trap - they’d be best to avoid it completely. Their side now has to explain and defend it.

Some of these Reform UK councillors need to start behaving like elected politicians and not activists over this Wetherspoons/Poppy incident. Their behaviour is just embarrassing.
And I say that as someone who feels that Reform definitely has a place in today’s political world.

10 years later and it’s still one of the best attack lines in a presidential debate.
And now everyone knows she was right.

Rachel Reeves emerges to defend her record
It's not just the vetting, man - it's the 'values' your party espouses that appeals to these people. Look at that first if you wish to acheive cross community support.

Nobody likes inheritance tax - but - if the state scrapped inheritance tax on family homes what incentive would there be for older people to sell homes that are too big for them?
In a housing market that is stalled and stagnating, partly because more people live alone, this could risk making Britain even more of an inheritocracy than it currently is

So the Tories are openly admitting that they would give free childcare to the rich, funded by removing benefits from the poor !!
Wow !!

Why has some woman just claimed that some PIP claimants get £70k (purely of PIP money) and has not been corrected??
These kind of lies being allowed to stand, incite bad feeling and hatred towards our communities of carers and disabled people

#BBCLauraK : Tories: pensions are too expensive, we can’t afford them. Disabled people are too expensive, we can’t afford them. Don’t have more children than you can afford on benefits, reintroduce two child cap. Earn over £100k? Hey, have free taxpayer funded childcare! 🙇♀️🙇♀️

You know that feeling when you book a flight for 50 quid and somehow it ends up costing 100?
Getting seats together, correcting a typo, another charge here and there, it all adds up.
When the cost of living is already squeezing people, those endless extras can feel relentless.
So we're changing the rules for you.
Parents won't need to pay a penny extra just to sit next to their own children.
You'll be able to fix any name errors on your booking free of charge.
And because the last thing you want once you're on the plane is more stress, we're working with the industry to make sure that disruptive passengers who have been banned from one airline can be banned from flying with other airlines too.
I know holidays are expensive and these are small things, but hopefully they'll make your trip just that little bit cheaper and easier.
That's exactly the kind of thing I want this government to keep on fixing.
