Ironwood National Monument - Took a couple friends out the other night. I forget how long the drive is, but I also forget just how beautiful the desert is out there. What an incredible night!!

10 years!! I've been trying to get landing points on Picacho Peak for over 10 years. And tonight it finally happened. Most of the night was spent getting little stick bolts and flashes buried back in the rain, but one strike definitely came out to play!!

Southeast of Tucson had it all going last night!!

Last night was filled with big branchy bolts landing all around!! Yet somehow this distant peaceful scene stole the show. Sonoita, Arizona.

Just a little sunset color was able to break through up in Marana last night!

Yesterday!! I was up on the NW side shooting this storm. A train was approaching and all I could think was blurry train in my shot. But then the train came to a complete stop. It only sat there for about 10 minutes before continuing on, but I got the shot I wanted!!

Mt Lemmon - last night I took the gamble on heading up the mountain. It turned into the best night I’ve ever had up there!

Yesterday was absolutely insane! Incredible supercell sunset followed by a tornado warning, 70mph winds, and a wall cloud over Sierra Vista! But my favorite part was the storms as they entered Tucson and dropped a few bombs over the city lights!!
