1. @cancore_io passed $100 million in total trading volume across its supported networks. Its new guide shows how to use an AI trading agent with limits on trading pairs, order size and daily volume. The agent cannot withdraw funds.
2. @ZenithFdn’s upgraded test network is back online after a reset. Developers need to collect fresh test funds and redeploy their apps. Existing network settings still work, and the upgrade includes fixes from public testing.
3. @supanova_app launched its memecoin launchpad on Canton, recording 9.73 million $CC in trading volume in its first 24 hours. Users can create tokens and trade them against CC.
4. Tokenized @CantonStrategic shares have started trading on TSV, powered by @tradecraftfi. @Fairmint maintains the official ownership records, and participants must be verified and approved. The shares carry the same shareholder rights as the company’s conventional stock.
5. @ibexmarket introduced a limited-time 5× multiplier on points earned from trading volume and its liquidity vault. Points will convert to IBEX tokens after the token launch (TGE).
6. @grofty_labs joined the Canton Foundation. The team builds wallets, trading tools and market data apps for Canton.
7. CBTC, the Bitcoin token from @BitSafe_Finance, accounted for 46.5% of @temple_ny’s October spot trading volume, up 9.5 percentage points. BETH, BitSafe’s Ether token, recorded $29.7 million in trading volume after its October 19 launch.
8. @Rocky_exchange’s wallet now supports holding and transferring Quadrillions, the memecoin launched on Supanova.
9. @UnhedgedHQ added prediction markets on the cost of renting computing power and on collectible card prices. The computing markets let users predict whether a price index finishes above or below a set target.
10. @Oneswapcc’s bridge now supports Solana, including swaps from Solana USDC into CC. Powered by @squidrouter, it now connects nine networks in both directions.
11. @exodus proposed a prepaid card with Monavate, Canton support in XO Swap and integration into its wallet. Its proposed Canton Super Validator rewards would depend on delivering these services.
12. Reels are live on @Thehub_io. Creators can share short videos to introduce their content and promote their tradable creator tickets.
13. @dfnsHQ wallets can now reserve assets for trades on Canton, applying spending limits and approval rules before committing them. Assets can also be locked until an agreed settlement deadline where this feature is supported.
14. @Canborsa_DEX launched an API for trading bots, live market data and account tools. @confluo_dex users can connect their Canborsa accounts with limits they set. Its promotional 20% annual rate on Savings for USDC, USDT and USDCx has also been extended for another month.

DTCC just put the plumbing for $114T in custodied securities onto Canton. That's not a pilot the Tokenization Service went live Oct 28.

People think "archived" means the contract is gone. It's not.
In Daml, a contract goes
Created → Exercised → Archived.
Once archived it's permanently inactive no more choices can be made on it. But it never disappears from the ledger.
Every state stays recorded. That's the whole point: history you can audit forever, not data you delete.

Everyone says their chain is "private." Canton actually means it.
Every transaction gets split into encrypted views. Signatories see the contract, observers see it only if they're declared, and everyone else sees nothing not the data, not even the metadata.

On Canton, a Super Validator's weight is earned, not granted.
New SVs join with weight 0. Weight is assigned only as milestones are completed and confirmed and the escrowed rewards release with it. Miss the deadline, and that weight is lost.

1. @temple_ny settled $764.5M in spot trades on Canton in October, up 91% from September.
2. Lending yields on @AlpendHQ were 17.13% APY for USDCx and 17.48% for USDXLR.
3. More than 15,000 people have joined the waitlist for @onepumpcc’s memecoin launchpad. Earning Diamonds moves you up the queue.
4. Grofty Lens is on Google Play. The app from @grofty_labs lets Android users compare token prices and see how much liquidity each Canton market has.
5. @Oneswapcc added a market for trading Ember’s silver token, eXAG, against USDXLR. One swap of $10 or more each day keeps your streak going and earns you more Diamonds at 7, 10 and 15 days.

15. @CantonVenues now estimates how much of a token you could sell while keeping 98% of its quoted value. You can also compare a past trade with the quotes available at the time.
16. In a local test, @ZenithFdn used a token representing Japanese government bonds as collateral for a loan. Separately, its test network is due to reset on November 2.
17. $NEOPRIME is trading on @silvana_book. Hecto designed the token to give traders exposure to private companies.
18. Apps using @partylayerkit can read wallet balances with permission. If a transaction’s status is unclear, they can check what happened without sending it twice.
19. @ligero_inc secured approval for up to 10 million CC to build a tool that checks token supply limits while keeping wallet balances private. Funding is tied to milestones.
20. A security incident took @Send’s Canton Wallet offline on October 22. Send’s incident report found no unauthorized access to customer wallets or funds.
21. @Canborsa_DEX cut perpetual futures trading fees from 0.07% to 0.055%. Traders can also set a limit on how far a market order can move from the quoted price.

When I first started exploring Canton, the hardest part was not finding big promises. It was knowing where to begin, which projects were live, what each one actually did, and how to move from curiosity to participation.
