Under scarcity it’s expensive to be poor and cheap to be rich. But under abundance it’s cheap to be poor and expensive to be rich. Complete inversion from what you know.

This is what I mean, this type of thing is crazy. You can whitelist IPs and restart your computer.
The AI cyber apocalypse is a real thing that will affect all of us. People we work with in the intel community have told us for months they expect an AI-triggered crisis. The UK just told people to prep 3 days of food & water. Now this. Brushing this off as hype is so insane.

How come Elon Musk is the only one seriously talking about all these young people dying in the trenches for no reason and begging for this war to stop? Innocent young Ukrainians and Russian conscripts are getting blown apart by drones, losing their lives And then you look at Europe. What do you only keep hearing from so many European leaders? More weapons, more ammunition, more military support. “We cannot let Russia win” You almost never hear them seriously talking about how to bring peace and end this war for good Why the hell aren't those same leaders putting that much energy into figuring out how to stop this meat grinder? What are these leaders actually doing to stop young people from dying every single day? What are they doing to end this endless slaughter? Why aren't they putting the same urgency into finding a way to end this war instead of constantly talking about sending more weapons and how they should continue this war forever? These are human beings. They have parents, families, loved ones, and entire lives ahead of them. And they're dying in trenches because of decisions made by people who will never have to experience what those young soldiers are going through And that includes the poor Russian conscripts who have no choice but to fight. They're human beings too. Their lives matter too How many more young people need to die before stopping this war becomes just as important as deciding who wins it? Why does it take Elon Musk to keep reminding people about the human lives being destroyed by this war? Seriously, where the hell is the urgency to stop all this killing? everyone who wants to continue this war is pure evil

The endless slaughter of Ukrainian and Russians must stop. We should some sympathy for the poor Russian conscripts too. Those kids have no choice but to fight and die in drone strikes.

Hegseth has presided over a policy that has re-oriented the military into a more capable fighting force. Literally reversing decades of “wrong direction.” But more crucially he’s overseen a china-energy containment policy that appears to be working. That would be a major problem for the democrats as Chinese money is a substantial inflow for them.

Men will steal a woman's best 5-10 years without remorse. It's up to fathers and mothers to prohibit their daughters from such "relationships." Zero reason to not be married after being together for 2 years, which honestly is still too long.
I knew a fellow like this. He dated and was engaged to this girl from her mid-20s till near 40; promised kids when he was “ready.” He dumped her when she turned 39. He was married with his first kid on the way within the next calendar year. Female friend has nothing.

One of the greatest crimes of our lifetime.
Obamacare was a giveaway for some lower income people who could qualify for Medicaid, but a disaster for the middle class. The people who said it was a Trojan horse for a single payer system may have been right - it may have been designed to make the system so expensive that everyone would want Medicare for all.

“Gee, I wonder if the communist party is doing this” - any not smart person.
Researchers successfully planted a backdoor in an open-weight AI model. By poisoning just 125 fine-tuning examples, they modified Qwen 2.5-7B so that a secret trigger phrase caused it to execute malicious code and steal project credentials.

you are retarded he supported trump because biden snubbed him at the EV summit that's it
The entire reason Elon went all in for trump in 2024 is because they were preparing to take SpaceX from him. This is that, again. They already showed how little regard there is for shareholders with what happened in Delaware, which was a trial balloon. Like him or not, I think Elon is fantastic, we need to support him 100% going forward. We cannot be divided on this sort of bs.

Let’s check in on CA real estate. This video is next level crazy, which is why I’m cross-posting from instagram. The colonization of CA by china is completely out of control and this is the overarching subtext of the wealth tax discussion. 0% of the people who would watch the reply video pay any taxes.

I’m super excited to announce what I’ve been trying to figure out since I started this account. The Hive!!! It's my new Discord for homeschool families: different channels, book lists, reading and math, a curriculum swap, and a weekly live Q&A with me. Founding members get 20% off with code HIVEFOUNDER (first 50). bowtiedqueenbee.gumroad.com/… I built The Hive as a place to ask questions and get real answers from people who are doing this and learn from people who might lean more towards your style. Inside: a channel for each grade, #books with 25 books I recommend, #hs-types for figuring out your style, #math, #curriculum-swap, and #wins-and-struggles. Teaching reading seems to be the first area parents are afraid to teach. The #reading-curriculum-help includes my Little Readers, Big Steps guide for ages 3-7. It works in 10-15 minutes a day. Because so many people ask me how to get started, the #getting-started has my free How to Begin Homeschooling guide. It's 33 pages and has a legal checklist for all 50 states plus DC. You can also get it free on my site: bowtiedqueenbee.com Every week I host a live Q&A in voice chat. Bring your curriculum questions, your schedule problems, and your "is this normal?" worries. Tiers: Hive Member: $9/mo or $90/yr Hive Plus: $19/mo or $190/yr Hive Coaching (1:1 with me): $149/mo or $1,490/yr Code HIVEFOUNDER takes 20% off for the first 50 founding members. If you've been homeschooling on your own, come join the community!! bowtiedqueenbee.gumroad.com/…

If Musk crippled Starlink/Starshield leading to dead Ukrainians, then that is justification for a federal takeover. No matter his fabulous wealth, Musk cannot have veto power over life or death.

😂 If American racism is discussed at all, the one liner will be, “America was the least racist society in all of history up to that point.” And then they’ll give some examples of blacks in the military, business owners, and being able to buy houses near everyone else. But I don’t think 200+ years from now it will even be discussed.
IMHO, when humans looks back at developments in the western world during the 20th c a few centuries from now, American racism and its consequences will be a historical footnote. The big stories will be:

I need to buy a new tv before they fix all this stuff.
WTF, $3000 Samsung TV has an always-on mic, automatic content recognition, geo tracking, network mapping, and ships your data to Samsung + 400 partners. Bro Rooted a brand-new 2025 Samsung TV after noticing absurdly targeted ads. Firmware was locked down, so zero-days it was. Got a root shell. then found: always-on voice service, ACR, geo, full telemetry pipeline, and four separate DRM systems. This isn’t a bug, It’s the product bro.

It’s been a wild week, but it’s a lot of noise. The asymmetric nature of cyber is actually improving Oh, and it was always about insurance anyway
For all my non-tech people hearing about AI hacking stuff. Here’s a primer on what’s happening and how to contextualize it. Tl;dr it’s a nothing burger for non-techs as we transition to a more stable/secure cyber security architecture. First off, cyber security professionals I’ve spoken to this week are completely unphased by this wave of issues. Nothing is new or unexpected, AI attacks look indistinguishable from mass based attacks by PRC and other similar APT teams. Oh TLS isn’t secure? Oh there are issues with a certificate authority? Hardware/software backdoors put in by IC have leaked and require a cleanup? Shocker. Non-techs were worried about AI slop code creating bugs that would leave us in a permanent state of compromise. The opposite is true. It’s the unpatched human slop code that’s the issue. There is no reinsurance market for cybersecurity so no one has ever taken it seriously at an institutional level. “Cybersecurity” always been about legal compliance rather than actual security. AI is changing that because it’s helping speed up defense by 10-100x. To date the relationship between offense and defense has been so assymmetric that there was no defense. It was common to hear “wait which side of the firewall are we on?” And similar comments. You also know this because everyone’s data is constantly hacked and released and nothing happens. The OPM database with all the US Military/Intelligence Community classification interviews was leaked years ago and nothing happened publicly. That was the norm, not the exception. Anyway, now we have an acceleration of cybersecurity defensive capabilities. We’re even seeing a reinsurance market begin to form. Which means we might actually get to parity (1:1) in attack/defense capability in a couple of quarters. This came at an interesting time from a media perspective because the signal fires had gone off to over-emphasize AI and cybersecurity as a kind of October Surprise, but the trump admin by making the issue about liability kneecapp’d that issue weeks ago. So it’s hilarious to see the usual suspects continuing to beat that drum as we see “zero-days” come out due to AI capabilities proliferate. Anyway the right move is to let the pony-tail corner people do their thing and take no action legally/policy wise. Don’t let anyone mislead you, we do not need any additional government anything related to cybersecurity because of AI. In fact the entire thing is getting more secure than ever, faster than anyone could possibly imagine 12 months ago.
