Visa Priority Sale for @rugbyworldcup - I got booted a couple times, then queued for 2 hours, then booted for taking too long, then queued for 5 minutes and got tickets for England v Wales (Wales' only group I didn't have after presale) So I didn't need to get up 2-3 hours early – at Pontypridd, Wales

I had a bit of a reading lull that went on for a months but since then I've managed to get back into reading and now it's time for a new book. @richardosman's We Solve Murders. I've read all five of The Thursday Murder Club books, so I am looking forward to trying his new series – at Pontypridd, Wales

I've been in a hostel in Pula, Croatia for the past few nights. Say what you want about the people in the dorm, but it's been very quiet. I think I will be spending this evening looking for somewhere to go for a short holiday. Got an MRI on my knee a week Tuesday, so need to ensure I can get back, so nervous about flying to far but might interrail instead because of my knee

My knee has gone again. Just seen my GP, who said what I really need is an MRI but it will be next year before I could get one, so if I can go private for it I should. So I have just booked a scan for Tuesday. £400 but I'll get some answers next week instead of next year – at Pen-y-rhiw, Wales

Got a month until my first full week of annual leave with no additional work booked in for over 2 years and I need a holiday. Do I interrail, bike pack or something else? I was considering Westjet to Canada, but the prices have naturally increased
