A version of this is true in India in all metros. We have failed at affordable accessible housing
I'm in my 40s. I'm a lawyer. My wife is a lawyer. We both work full time.
We cannot afford the house my parents purchased on a single electrician's income in their 30s.
We cannot afford the house my immigrant grandparents purchased on a single MTA bus driver's salary in their 30s. They had SIX CHILDREN.
For 30 years, politicians in Washington & their oligarch allies convinced regular people that this was just about avocado toast and fancy coffee.
In reality, this is end-stage capitalism. Everyone is stuck in place. It's impossible to buy a home. It's too costly to move. We work too much to have passion projects. We don't have enough savings to start our own businesses. We can't afford to go without healthcare to do it.
Thanks for writing this article @troy_closson. Would be very happy to discuss further.

This is an important reminder for India. Our biggest sporting ambition should be to make sport a part of everyday life, especially for our children. A country where more people play, where physical activity becomes a habit and where sport contributes to a healthier society. This deserves to be at the very heart of our sporting priorities. We must think beyond medals and podiums. Get the foundations right, build a genuine sporting culture, and the medals will eventually become a byproduct of something far more meaningful.

Twitter has come through for me before so I’m asking again
I’m looking for my next role in marketing/GTM. I’ve spent six years in various sales and marketing roles in CPG/alcobev/D2C. I’ve worked on ATL campaigns, NPD, brand restages and multiple IPs, both digital and offline.
