Why is Jesus almost always portrayed as a helpless infant in devotional art next to Mary? Keeping Him permanently as a baby transfers authority and dominance to the mother figure, bypassing His adult ministry and His absolute status as the sole Mediator. Scripture shows that once Jesus reached adulthood, He operated in full divine authority and positioned Mary as a disciple who must follow Him. This escalation is NOT ancient history. Official dogmas codified in 1854 and 1950 expanded traditions far beyond the sixty-six books, pushing believers to seek grace and protection from Mary.

Equating asking a living Christian to pray for you with praying to deceased saints is a false equivalence. Scripture commands believers on earth to intercede for one another (1 Tim 2:1)- it never once models or permits invoking the dead, assigning them omnipresence, or creating secondary mediators. And at Cana, Mary said "Do whatever He tells you"- Christ never commanded anyone to pray to His mother.

John 14:6 is a verse Catholics believe, not a contradiction you’ve caught us in. Entrusting yourself to Mary’s maternal care means asking her to pray for you and help you follow Christ. It does not mean she can save you independently of Him. Catholic teaching explicitly says her role depends entirely on Christ’s mediation (CCC 970). Paul commands intercession in 1 Timothy 2:1, then affirms Christ’s unique mediation in verse 5. Clearly, someone praying for you does not become a rival savior. The original post is devotional shorthand, not a complete argument for Marian devotion. But your rebuttal still requires it to mean something Catholics reject. Mary’s instruction at Cana was “Do whatever he tells you” (John 2:5). Explain how following that direction takes anyone away from Christ.

How the best home defense conversation is still going: Group A: pistols are best Group B: Shotguns are best Group C: ARs are best All discussing why. Random dude pretending to be group B: you should just keep your shotgun unloaded and rack it to scare off intruders… All normal group participants: Who is this retard?

BREAKING: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu overtakes opposition leader Gadi Eisenkot in Israel’s tight election with half the votes counted. Just days ago, Netanyahu’s odds of winning had fallen as low as 20%. He is now the frontrunner in the election.

There’s no question that Native Americans suffered shameful depredations at the hands of Europeans. But it was never your land. It was land on which your ancestors moved about without ever creating a unified nation and the truth is that even if you’d done so, you would eventually have lost it to Europeans. It’s the story of all but less than a handful of nations the world over.

If we give you the land back, should we dismantle all the cities, tear out the roads, electrical grid, sewage systems, airports, seaports, and everything else we built, and leave you to go back to a technology free society that didn't even have the wheel? 🤣🤣

Yeah, sure they did. They fought each other for control of land and hunting grounds. We arrived, beat you all, and made peace between the tribes.

The story of the Bible isn't just a collection of disconnected lessons- it is one continuous narrative. To understand where Solomon went wrong, you have to look all the way back to the Garden of Eden. In Genesis, the Fall was about more than eating forbidden fruit. At its root, it was humanity choosing self-reliance, autonomy, and human wisdom apart from God. Thousands of years later, Solomon fell into that exact same trap- only on a grand scale. God originally gave Solomon unmatched wisdom and wealth to serve as a picture of His kingdom. Yet over time, Solomon built a magnificent empire centered on himself. In biblical language, an anti-christ figure is anything elevated in place of, or in opposition to, the true King. In a tragic way, Solomon became a prototype- a king intended to point directly to Christ, who instead began relying on his own brilliance. God had warned Israel’s kings in Deuteronomy never to multiply gold, horses for an army, or foreign political wives. Yet Solomon accumulated all three, trading simple trust for political alliances, heavy taxation, forced labor, and pagan altars. Then comes a detail in 1 Kings 10- The text notes that Solomon collected 666 talents of gold in a single year. This is the only place in the Old Testament where 666 appears as a specific quantity. When John later writes about the number 666 in Revelation, there's a direct echo of this moment. In scriptural symbolism, six represents human effort, and a triple six highlights human wisdom, wealth, and power operating entirely apart from God. The contrast with Jesus is breathtaking. Solomon ruled from an ivory and gold throne built on the backs of forced labor; Jesus emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant to lay down His life. The Queen of Sheba marveled at Solomon’s temporary splendor, yet Jesus later reminded His listeners that "something greater than Solomon is here." In the end, human brilliance only brought Solomon exhaustion. In Ecclesiastes, he looked back on his monumental achievements and called them a chase after the wind, writing: "For what does a man have for all his labor, and for the striving of his heart with which he has labored under the sun? For all his days are sorrows, and his work burdensome... This also is vanity." -Ecclesiastes 2:22–23 Solomon reached the absolute summit of human achievement, only to realize that simple, trusting obedience was all that truly mattered. He left us with a sobering warning that rings just as true today: "There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death." -Proverbs 14:12

A Beverly Hills mansion on a government salary? Must be nice huh?
FBI Raids Beverly Hills Mansion Tied to Eric Swalwell Investigation. Federal agents hit a mansion in Beverly Hills this morning as part of the ongoing investigation into the former congressman, who resigned and dropped his California governor bid earlier this year after multiple sexual misconduct accusations. Agents previously searched his D.C. home and seized devices at SFO. The raid comes days after the White House declassified FBI records in which Swalwell admitted to "physical relations" with suspected Chinese operative Christine "Fang Fang" Fang. He was not arrested.

I don’t know how to be more clear on this. The scenario everyone discuss about home defense tools is a home defense situation. It’s not home deterrence. The shotgun sound CAN be a deterrent. But in a home defense scenario deterrence has failed. You are going to shoot.
Its a sound you instinctively know and fear.
