Tonight, my boyfriend bought a house.
Meanwhile, I bought a @LillyPulitzer dress.

"Big" doesn't necessarily equal bad. Companies merge and split all the time. It's a part of our dynamic economy.
CEI's @regoftheday explains why the @FTC needs to cool down its anti-merger mania in our latest "not a policy paper, just a thought video.

FTC Merger Mania: Not A Policy Paper, Just A Thought
Senior Fellow Ryan Young releases a new "Not A Policy Paper, Just A Thought" video explaining why the Federal Trade Commission should cool down its anti-merger mania.
Hi @FedExHelp — this package was supposedly signed for and delivered at my home yesterday. However - it is not here & no one by the name of N. Simone lives at this household. No idea who that even is. Help?
I find it appalling that the @NavalAcademy is not allowing midshipman to attend religious services, yet they have had their shooting team, wrestling team & diving team travel to compete. cc @campusreform @SenTomCotton @TomCottonAR @Heritage @DanCrenshawTX @TheFIREorg
Ya know, @AmericanAir, your company & the airline industry as whole is in trouble — and you likely can ill afford for customers to leave your airline for a a competitor. But given the rude nature of your employees you wouldn’t know it.
This is the best news I’ve heard all week! Congrats to @jonellefulmer! Can’t think of a better person to serve at ARGOP Chair! She’s one of the many reasons I love (and miss) Arkansas so much!
Congratulations to @jonellefulmer & the entire @ARGOP State Committee. Our party has grown tremendously over the last decade and experienced great success at every level. We’ll continue working hard to continue that trend. There’s certainly a lot to be excited about. #arpx #ARgop
By contrast- flew with ESA on @SouthwestAir a month ago — such a breeze & SO accommodating.
After a 5+ year hiatus from @united (as a result of a HORRIBLE experience), I gave them a try again. Bad move. Flying with approved ESA, to treat my anxiety issues. Filled out & pre submitted UA required paperwork from a vet & mental health professional. Was approved (see email).

Check in agents were horrible Jacqueline at IAH argued forms weren’t valid bc “she has never seen them.” The forms in question were supplied via United’s website & are listed as required for boarding & were submitted 48 hours before boarding. I spoke to UA yesterday to confirm.
We sprinted to the gate to board at the last moment bc of crappy training of employees on how to deal with ESA & Service Animal.
Pretty sad performance, @united.
And I very much appreciate the shout out General Welsh gave his wife... and all military spouses. Bc it’s hard as hell. My experience as a Navy wife is VERY easy compared to most. I do not know how these ladies do it. They are heroes & often overlooked.
Day 1, Session 1 of residency week for my EMPSA at @BushSchool, listening to Gen. Mark Welsh (ret) talking about “selfless service” & the commitment to service of military aviators like Heather Penny ... while my husband is currently flying a missions ... and now I’m a hot mess

Watching The West Wing. Will Bailey is discussing the issues w/ raising CAFE standards. Immediately, I am transported back to every single discussion I have ever had with @ceidotorg's GC. (Brag point: @ceidotorg has led the fight against higher CAFE standards, making cars safer.)
Applying to grad school & requested my college transcripts. For some reason, my name on my transcripts has been changed to 'Heather Browning Wallace.' Odd given 1) I didn't request this change and 2) ITS NOT MY LEGAL NAME!
No idea how my Alma mater even knew I got married.
Working on writing my statement of purpose of a masters in Public Service while @HamiltonMusical plays in the background seems appropriate.
(however - King George is 100% my favorite character.)
We’ve officially been married three months today. Our wedding seems like both yesterday & a lifetime ago all at the same time. The last three months have been unique — but couldn’t ask for a better quarantine partner than E.

You Baby Boomers screwed up. You thought you were going to "reinvent" parenting & instead you gave us Millennials. You've been hoisted on your own petard & now it's up to Gen X to reel it in but I don't know if we even have the will power at this point. Good job.
you spent 43 years in a position to do that....and did not.
Instead, you actually pushed for a policies the negatively effect low-income and minority individuals.
Why are you deserving on my vote now? 43 years wasnt enough time to get things done? You just need 4 more?
It is possible to disagree with Sen. Cotton's opinions and still believe that the response from @nytimes is very sad.
The op-ed section of the "paper of record" SHOULD encourage difference of thought. Regardless of if they disagree with those thoughts.
To reporters covering @nytimes's meltdown:
-At least three drafts back and forth
-Multiple edits and changes suggested by the NYT
-Rigorous process before approval
Only "standard" this failed to meet was that opinion pieces must not anger the woke mob.

June 4, 2020... @CNN is running an article at the top of their homepage entitled “Jobless claims suddenly jump to a two-year high”
It’s from Dec 12, 2019.
just one example of why people do not trust their news coverage... and not being able to trust news coverage is terrifying.
